Oh come on bartender, that game is whack. Get half-life 2 for PC instead.
Half Life did nothing for me, so I see no reason to buy Half Life 2. The next PC game I plan on buying is Fallout 3, if it ever sees the light of day. Unless I cave and buy an MMORPG in the meantime.

munky_magik 12-22-2004 05:42 PM

hammers? uhh...I have no idea. I'm trying to remember all the songs that I learnt when I started out

Bartender 12-22-2004 05:43 PM
*Was playing GTA: San Andreas all last night*

"Sup bro, what you niggaz up to?"

"Nuffin, buster. This shit's wack."

"Fo' sho', bizzatch"
Yeah, I had to turn on the subtitles for San Andreas pretty quickly.

Riva 12-22-2004 05:44 PM
haha. Is that game as good as everyone says?
Ok. Guitarist question. Which song taught you how to hammer on?

ME = Tool : Schism
AC/DC - Thunderstruck

BludgeonySteve 12-22-2004 05:47 PM

Over The Hills And Far Away. <--- kind of hard hammering on for the begginer I was but i worked at it.

I desperately crave Rome: Total War, and World Of Warcraft. I also wish I had more money.

Oh, and I think Ethan's crusade made Fallout 3 less likely to be released than ever.

Bartender 12-22-2004 05:50 PM

Never! Ethan's valiant efforts can only have speeded justice.

If not, he can go and beat up the Interplay guy again, until it finally is made.

Arucard 12-22-2004 05:52 PM

Im getting Half-Life 2 for christmas. Ahh, finally a game that will take away my multi-playing life nearly as much as The Sum Of All Fears.

That definition of Robert Plant reminded me of this. Adam posted his own definition of this, and some Pit wise-arse, (I suspect Trav) went and made a second definition.

No, I haven't. I'm not saying it won't be good, but I was saying there's little enough appeal in FPS games to me anyway. I prefer RPGs, most of the time (hence, Fallout).

Arucard 12-22-2004 06:07 PM

Me too RPG's > All.
Apart from SOAF online on the PC.

Half Life didn't do much for me either, but I thought Half Life 2 was absolutely amazing.

I have to admit I could never get into Fallout 2.

But enough about single players - go buy World of Warcraft and join me on Tichondrius!

Zero Hour is also fun. The GLA are awesome.

ThrashMaster27 12-22-2004 06:29 PM

Urgh! Anyone ever play Gunman Chronicles? it was like a Half Life add on without being one. Crap aswell! Set in the future with people dressed in Cowboy suits...what's all that about?

thickasabrick 12-22-2004 06:31 PM

sorry if im interupting anything, but where did the top posters thing go? does anyone know when we get to see the list or however it works?

Guessing you mean the top posters in this thread? On the main R&M page you just click on the how many replies the post has had and it automatically comes up with the list of the top posters. If you don't mean this, then I'm stumped.

NP: Sadus - Images

Bartender 12-22-2004 06:56 PM

I think he means the Top 40 Posters thing that Mekka is/was organising.

As far as I know, he's counting up the votes at the moment.

shortass 12-22-2004 06:58 PM

He's talking about the 40 top R&M posters competition

NP:Nothing but I'm watching Team America

Gary:Wow a flying limosine, now I've seen everything!
Spundsworth:Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
Gary:No
Spundsworth:Then you haven't seen everything!

So, I'm currently in Texas, visiting family. Anyone else on vacation in weird and boring places?
