I'm going next week. My little brother saw the tour in Atlanta last week and met K'naan. He just came out in the crowd after his set, my bro was right up front, he said "What's up," and K'naan said "What's up, brotha?" and gave my little brother a pound infront of everyone. That's how my brother tells the story, anyway. |

SOAD - Hypnotize
Odd album. Soldier Side and Vicinity Of Obscenity might just be their best 2 songs ever, but then there's something as truly shameful as Lonely Day. I guess it's a 3.5 overall. Not as good as Mezmerize. |

MC5 - Kick Out The Jams
I love that spoken intro at the beginning at Motor City Is Burning. I'm digging Black Sabbath's Master Of Reality right now. |

Not as good as Mezmerize.
Yeah, I was thinking that as well. It's weird because everyone (even the band members) said that this half of the double-album is their better one. Oh well, I'm sure it will grow on me. The lyrics in Lonely Day sure are cheesy though, but I could never take a band like SOAD seriously when they are so fucking goofy all the time. Aww, look at the widdle kids talkin' politics! Hee hee, now do the one about the pogo stick :) |
QoTSA - Over the Years and Through the Woods
|
So it's good?
|
QoTSA - Over the Years and Through the Woods
Is it good? All the reviews I've read have been quite positive. |
Hey Little Man, do you reckon I should review Tapey's cd? What should I say about acquring a copy?
|
Is it good? All the reviews I've read have been quite positive.
It's an hour and forty minute show. the CD is kind of lame, but it's worth the cash. it was 12 bucks for me. you get to see Nick's **** too. |
