Just trying to grasp Teen Town with not much luck.

How is/was your day/night? (**** time zones)

bottlerocket 05-27-2005 10:18 PM

^ My night was decent...I worked until 9, then I went out to a party. I was kinda tired so I just came home really early (11:20ish) and here I am.

You?

Convectuoso 05-27-2005 10:21 PM

I am having a goodish day. I'm going out tonight to the regional finals of Rockquest tonight (Battle of the bands type thing) so that might be good, fingers crossed.

Worked till 9 jeez I couldn't do that then go to a party. What's your job like?

Left Shoe 05-27-2005 10:28 PM

for teen town, what you want to do is play it slowly until you have it perfectly and then speed it up, teen town like most jaco pieces is based off of finesse and perfectioninstead of just speed.

Convectuoso 05-27-2005 10:30 PM

Exactly what I'm doing :thumb:

Got any other tips?

Left Shoe 05-27-2005 10:33 PM

any particular part you are having trouble with?

use powertab just so you have somethign to play along with that you can change the tempo

bottlerocket 05-27-2005 10:37 PM

I should go to bed...I'm really tired.

I'm using Guitar pro which is way better :p and I haven't spent much time on it so I'm only on perfecting the first couple of measures.

But if I have any trouble I'll sure as will come to you :thumb:
