Yeah Fingers, I have to say, loving Oceansize. They're like inMe, Reuben, Radiohead and Explosions In The Sky.

Bruce E Kinesis 03-22-2011 06:05 AM

holy shit it's aria that dude who was always into classical stuff and is probably single-handedly responsible for people talking like this in single sentences with no punctuation or regards for the length of sentence fragments

Sad But True 03-22-2011 07:20 PM

Quick question Lod: Will the burn in process on my headphones get rid of the one sided-ness of how they sound atm? The left side (with the cable) is about 30% louder. I can just about get away with it because my left ear is fucked so it's not as bad but I can definitely tell they're not even.

Kuffuffled 03-22-2011 08:41 PM

New headphones shouldn't do that. Burnt in speakers may sound better but they shouldn't suck when new

dave mustaine #2 03-22-2011 08:53 PM

That is strange they do that. If they are still under warranty I would bring em back and get em replaced.

SugarCoatedSour 03-23-2011 07:12 AM

my right ear is pretty weak at distinguishing certain freqs so everything always sounds louder and more defined in the left cup.

Sad But True 03-23-2011 09:02 AM

Because my left is ear crap, when I have the louder speaker in my left it's almost ok, but if I swap em over and put the louder one on my right I can barely hear the left side. I think I'm going to send them back; I was supposed to be mixing with these :(
I'm back playing FF8 actually. Got a random urge to play it again the other day and it's once again taking up big chunks of my time.

Discuss its merits vs other titles in the series, specifically 7 and 9. Go.
I fell in love so badly with Rinoa that I still always look for petit girls with white skin, dark hair and beautiful eyes

motogrifo 03-26-2011 01:12 PM

Jeffs Carrot 03-26-2011 01:25 PM

She's basically my ex-girlfriend.

I was going to mention something about the sexual attractiveness of other certain blonde females in that game but decided I would like to hold on to any dignity that I have left.

Plankis 03-27-2011 04:51 AM

I love FF8. Very moving story there. I haven't managed to beat it yet though. I'm stuck pretty badly against Ultimecia. Can't go anywhere to work up some experience either, because I must save Rinoa first!

Sad But True 03-27-2011 05:03 AM

When you get onto the 4th disc after saving Rinoa you and time compression starts, you can actually take one of the ortals on the big chains to get back into the world map and fight some shit, except you can't go in any of the cities, but you can still train up.

Also, the 4 parts lof Ultimecia are the hardest end boss I've ever done. Only ever done it once and it took about 10 attempts.

Plankis 03-27-2011 05:08 AM

I think I'm farther than that. I'm on the boss where Rinoa and Ultimecia mends together. I can't use my GF's, which has become my main weapon, because it'll kill Rinoa. I can't get out of that place because Rinoa has been kidnapped again and the few monsters you meet inside the dungeon gives like 1 exp for some reason. Very difficult.
