I've got a big desicion to make, I don't know whether to see CoB or Dragonforce, and I can't afford both.
I was wondering if anyone knows what CoB's setlists have been like recently, because I don't really like Are You Dead Yet? a great deal.

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 06:55 PM

Check out Scythes-of-bodom.com and have a look.

Honestly, the new set list is probably going to be a little bit unpredictable, because CoB have said that they are having a lot of fun with this tour and will probably be adding some songs to the set list. What is on Scythes-of-Bodom is deffinately going to be played though.

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 07:51 PM

They might be adding Punch Me I Bleed, We're Not Gonna Fall.

PsychoticFlubber 01-06-2006 07:53 PM
They might be adding Punch Me I Bleed, We're Not Gonna Fall.
We're Not Gonna Fall was already on the list from the start. Because I know they played at the Palladium show I went on Dec 10th.

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 08:01 PM

Erm, must of been a different one of the new album then...

No wait, it's jus the one. They're going to do a medley off Hatecrew Death Roll and Follow the Reaper, and they're going to film for a DVD.

Oh yeah, I heard that too. I can't wait for that DVD...

It is a great set list anyway too. I think that "Taste of My Scythe" and "Children of Decadence" should have been on the list, but oh well. Everything went great in my opinion. If I still miss the show at this moment since, it had to of been amazing.

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 08:23 PM

Yeah, I'm glad they play In Your Face and Sixpounder. I really wanna see/hear Trashed, Lost and Strungout though.

PsychoticFlubber 01-06-2006 08:45 PM

Yeah, I forgot about TL&S... That is such a great song. The only problem is that the lyrics posted on most sites are incorrect... Sucks that Alexi doesn't share all the lyrcis, but oh well... it's his decision. Lyrics don't matter though... I am not sure if I am the only one on this thought but I think alot of music that I find cool and agressive sounds worse when I know what the singer is saying throughout the entire song...

Dude, with all due respect, smack yourself for not seeing the answer.

COB: Good music...and possibly some moshpits (don't know if you're into that kinda thing or not).

Dragonforce: Ungodly music, crazy *** show, people holding swords, insane as hell solos...

Dragonforce. Period. :thumb:

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 09:19 PM

Nahhhhhh

Shattered_Future 01-06-2006 09:20 PM
Nahhhhhh
Oh right, you're the dude who doesn't like Dragonforce...

Here's what's gonna happen to your head.

:smash:

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 09:23 PM

Hehe, well I've seen Dragonforce live already, and never seen CoB. But DF are playing at a closer venue, so it will be easier to get there, so can only really make the CoB gig if I convince someone to give me a lift. Still undecided.

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 09:25 PM

Would you be going to the CoB in London on the 26th?

nowitzki 01-06-2006 09:28 PM

The one at Bradford probably. The Astoria gig would be cool, but that would mean I'd have to get the train to London and not be able to get home until the morning after, which i can't really afford to do as its right in the middle of my exams at uni.

MRDuCran 01-06-2006 09:32 PM

Oh, I'm guessing Derby is closer to the other one then.

/doesn't know UK very well...

nowitzki 01-06-2006 09:36 PM

Yeah, especially if you're driving. I have no idea what the venue in Bradford is like, seems like a strange place for them to play, its hardly a hot spot for bands.

repcak 01-06-2006 09:48 PM

I'm speechless, i'm breathless

CoB where amazing!! i will tell you all later... only some facts:

- i made 128mb photos with my dicigam and tons of good videos (without sound - i don't have the feature on my camera)
- i invited alexi laiho for a beer
- i have a photo with me and Alexi Laiho
- i have a photo with me and Rope Latvalla
- everyone of the band (except the keyboarder who went to bed) signed me a Cob-card
- and i sat for whole 4hours with them in the same pub... Rope Latvalla was sitting alle the time on the other table in front of me

...now i will check the photos i've made and videos and will upload them all tomorrow on my homepage!

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 01-06-2006 09:54 PM

Pfffffffft, CoB by far.

repcak 01-06-2006 10:06 PM

the videos are fantastic... each 15second long.. and i made about 15 vids!! 2 of them are from ektomorf

/good night. tomorrow.. äh ... i mean today i will upload the vids/photos

supra_speed 01-06-2006 10:11 PM

Apocalyptic Raids 01-06-2006 10:15 PM

If you've already seen DragonForce, then I would go to CoB.
