Due to some chronic foot pain, I went to my doctor to get some x-rays done. They discovered a large mass inside my first metatarsal bone which was eating away at the bone, which had resulted in a small fracture. I ended up having surgery to remove the mass (which turned out to be a tumor) and a large part of the bone. Now I can't walk on it because the bone has to grow back together. :/
