the only person we wouldnt like are joey or lars if they for some reason they came on here
haha, and I jsut realized, Drummers are known as the "stupid" person of the group, but the D&P section is like the most civolized section on MX, we dont have stupid jokes, we are very intellectual lol, if you ever go on guitar forums, they post the dumbest crap ever, and the Pit, dont get me started lol

puppet.master 11-12-2005 12:18 AM

we just tend to act dumb and immature in public sometimes

or maybe thats just me because im 15

Brokensticks 11-12-2005 12:22 AM

The D&P section is the best IMO we all actually in a way know eachother and sometimes I refer to some of you as my friends. ( dont worry i actually have friends  ) It is an awesome section we have here, and what would it be without some of us ( sadly not me )

White 11-12-2005 12:24 AM

Ya it is a great section lol, by far the best we are one big family, and ya puppet master Im 15 to lol, I see what you mean haha

EDIT 400th POST!!!!!!!

Double Bass Jim 11-12-2005 12:27 AM
ya we will laugh at anything lol, but thats cause im pretty sure the D&P section is the only section on MX that is all friends lol
props to jim

Brokensticks 11-12-2005 12:46 AM

I dont think some people even know he is a MOD, he does way more than anyone here thinks i'm sure, even me. He is like God to the D&P section and makes me look like poo.

Aaron 11-12-2005 12:58 AM

quick question, not worth a thread: if i change my heads regularly, are pins good for me? because it seems to be that they're good for a while, then go horrible.. what do people think?

Double Bass Jim 11-12-2005 01:01 AM

Ehh I wouldnt bother with pins, go for some emps man.

Brokensticks 11-12-2005 01:03 AM

I still have stock Sonor heads :(

Aaron 11-12-2005 01:04 AM

yeah i already play emps over ambs.. just brainstorming cause im bored.

Aaron 11-12-2005 01:05 AM

i clamped my hi-hat to my ICON last night. best thing i've ever done for a while.. they actually sound better cause theyre not jumping round.. and i get bloody legs out the way for my double.

Double Bass Jim 11-12-2005 01:08 AM

Wanna experiment with some new tones? Try some clear CS black dots on the toms over clear diplomats... Incredible tones.

Aaron 11-12-2005 01:10 AM

yeah i'm a fan of the CS now, after getting the coated/reverse black dot on my snare..

Double Bass Jim 11-12-2005 01:14 AM

Try em man, the clear black dots on the toms sound great. Hardly anyone uses it anymore either.

Aaron 11-12-2005 01:14 AM

should i get a 21" or 22" K Heavy Ride as a christmas present for myself? I've played both and i can't decide.. i can get it for $500 odd instead of $680 so i'm happy..

Aaron 11-12-2005 01:15 AM
Try em man, the clear black dots on the toms sound great. Hardly anyone uses it anymore either.
