If you mean good stuff that blends electronic stuff with metal then I would check out Genghis Tron, old Sky Eats Airplane, Arsonists Get All The Girls and maybe Born Of Osiris.

Xplisit 08-07-2008 11:31 AM

is the new SEA really bad?

Dimmu Burger 08-07-2008 11:34 AM

Not at all, it's just nothing like the old stuff. It barely has any electronic stuff.

Xplisit 08-07-2008 11:36 AM

hmm, well i liked their debut, but the implementation of electronics was one of the reasons.

FreeSmells 08-07-2008 11:38 AM

No shows in PA? Wtf

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 08:31 AM

Oh snap! Where in PA are you?

FreeSmells 08-08-2008 08:47 AM

Right now I'm in the outskirts of Philly.
In about 3 wks I'm back up at school at State College (Smack in the middle of PA)

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 08:53 AM

Dang! Well there's always NY or Baltimore.

2muchket! 08-08-2008 08:58 AM

Yeah I pity the foo' who hasn't seen architects live

ahahahah

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 09:48 AM

I don't really get that, but I look forward to seeing them!

FreeSmells 08-08-2008 09:50 AM
Dang! Well there's always NY or Baltimore.
NY is 5 hrs away...
It is on a friday tho...

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 09:50 AM

Dude that's worth a road trip IMO.

FreeSmells 08-08-2008 09:52 AM

Maybe...
I do really want to see Architects, but that's about it. I've seen DEP too many times to count and I don't care for the others.

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 09:58 AM

Dude Beneath The Massacre is freakin amazing! I also heard that Emmure puts on a really good show, but I could care less about them.

FreeSmells 08-08-2008 10:00 AM

I loathe Emmure, and BtM never really impressed me.
at all.

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 10:08 AM

They have mastered the chug chug sweep picking chug chug chug sweep picking routine.

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 10:42 AM

You have an unfair advantage being from England!

FreeSmells 08-08-2008 10:51 AM
Indeed, bro. Indeed.
The last good show that came through my area was Fall of Troy, The Dear Hunter, and Tera Melos.

And that was held AT my school, not even at a venue around me.
