right but i think they'd want him more just to keep some resemblence of the origial band
i thought james started it
Nope. Lars did, and then he had done some jamming sessions with james before that, so he asked james to join the band and he did. |
No, Lars is actually the weakest member of Metallica. He's a pretty lazy drummer.
123. Very lazy. It would be cool for them to have some better drumming. |
I dont know bout that
I think lars is a driving force in that band...not to metion he helps write every song.
Google search a story/article about "sliptallica" or "Joey tends to 'tallica" I can't remember what it's called. The event proved well though the Lars is very replacable. |

There. Lars can be replaced. http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/article.asp?ID=8100&type=NWS Look at the picture on that one. Joey is so **** short. |
yes we heard about donnington
but i wouldnt want that *** clown replacing lars |
i think lars did alot for metallica, maybe not in the link you posted, but he did help metallica esablish themselves in the 80s. You can read under each songtitle in the Kill'em All, Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, and And Justice For All booklets and look under who wrote the song and lars is there everytime. you might be able to replace a lazy drummer, but you cant replace a imprtant songwriter who also created the band
Remeber, it might be better to kick him out for the performances...but without lars there wouldnt be a metallica. and I think it would be wrong to kick him out after 20 years. they dont need to kick him out, thy're already rolling in millions. also lars is getting old, that why he might come across as a little lazy, but i think he works his *** off! |

FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS
The lyrics of the song "For Whom The Bell Tolls" are based on the same titled Ernest Hemmingway novel, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" which is about an American who is given the job of taking out a bridge held by the Fasist army in the Spanish Civil War - the precurser to the World War II. He fell in love and then found out very disturbing things about life and death. stole that from encycmet.com |

^^ what an insightful burn.
Even I naturally knew all that information so well and that it came from some site I've never heard about. What is with everybody and their attempts to make each other look like idiots when they're doing perfectly fine things? ASSHOLE, your not funny, get a life, and lose your big internet balls (the ones you think you have) |
does anyone know why lars changed his drumstyle after ajfa?is it because he got his feet ran over or cuz hes lazy?
|
Well if you are talking about double bass he does some on St. Anger...
But yeah, I noticed on The Black Album his drumming isn't nearly as complex as AJFA, I don't know why though. |

You better believe it

if lars was gone it just wouldnt be metallica, you just cant f**k with that.
|
Lars/James are core part of Metallica. People can whine as much as they want but ultimatley, we all know they can never be replaced with musicians who maybe better on the instrument or vocals.
Lars made Metallica. James perfected it. Nothing know one can do. |
Its really simple.
MEtallica cant lose ne1 except rob. Discussion over. |

|
