so I fulfill every role I shouldn't have to fulfill for my gf, which puts insane levels of pressure on me
What kind of roles?
Feh. What are they gonna do? In middle school I used to rituallistically get the crap beaten out of me for less. So what if some uptight little square-head looks down on me. It's their own fault for not having a sense of humor.
I think it's kind of a lame shirt, but then again, what do I know

superpeer 02-01-2006 04:57 PM
The thing is, I feel at the end of my rope precisely because I feel as though I've done everything I can. But the basic issue is of an overreliance on me by my gf because she doesn't have many close outside friendships, and many of my friends have various problems with her because of her awkwardness around them. It's all very stupid, but the effect is to make me torn between the two entities I care about the most, and I can't make them talk to one another to resolve it. They need to do it themselves and both are unwilling, so I fulfill every role I shouldn't have to fulfill for my gf, which puts insane levels of pressure on me. For instance, were I to leave her, who would she turn to to help her cope? I care too much about her to see that happen, but on the other hand I just can't handle the alternative by this point.

Okay dudes, I'm gonna go get some dinner. Nice talking to y'all.

EDIT: By break, I mean an end to me being in a relationship. There would be no confusion on that front. I would be seperate from her and she would be seperate from me. I would need to be single for a while, I feel. But she's pretty ill now and isn't inclined to talk to any of my friends about this anyway, so we'll see how things pan out.
That's a tough situation, I can emphatise with that. It's never good when your girlfriend and your friends don't get along, especially when your girlfriend doesn't have many (good) friends of her own. I can understand completly how much pressure that would put on you, because I know girls can be very demanding. The word attention whore did not originate out of fiction. :\ On top of that, you can't neglect your friends either.

Let's just hope that your friends and your girl work it out, because it would be a shame that because of other people not getting along, you would lose someone you care about. The more they see each other, the better they will get along, I would think. Just push them in each other's throats. It's always strange when friends and girlfriend don't get along, because, in theory, you'd pick the same type of people to hang around with, so they'd have to get along by definition.

To me a girlfriend should be like a best friend, who just happen to fuck when you feel like it and who also costs a lot more. :)

I've been freaking owned so bad...

OK, a friend of mine... has been very touchy feely with me... and I've had a thing for her for quite some time now... though I've been too much a sissy to ask her out... today she comes out of the closet :upset:.

Maybe they'll think you're trying to draw attention away from your manhood by saying how big your brain is. =o

That's the danger of the T-shirt, I didn't actually expect you to get beaten up. :)
what do you mean?
She likes peaches.

EDIT: it also means she's gonna get more pussy than he.

ba-zing!

I have a close female friend who is a lesbian (and god knows why, she's absolutely stunning) and for some reason it's easier to hang out with her, because we can flirt all we want with the knowledge that it will never lead to anything.

GenuineImitation 02-01-2006 05:05 PM

Thats too bad.

Out of curiosity, is a hot lesbian?

Yes, extremely.

I'd agree with this. I don't get along with some of my friends' girlfriends (and it's not just me, by the way, but other friends as well - and it's not because we're jealous, it's because she's a royal bitch), and my friends didn't see eye-to-eye with my girlfriends okay shut up I'm just going with this for the sake of an example, so yeah, it's not a fun situation.

Seeing as how I have a woman, it's important that nothing happens between me and any friend of the opposite sex.

Yes, why would a woman who is attracted to women cultivate an appearence of beauty? :p

i am the robots 02-01-2006 05:10 PM

I'm pissed... she's such a friggin' **** tease... like... she is always touching me and what not... :(

That's girls for you, meaner than an old bitter pitbull, who used to be in the army, with a severe headache and just robbed of his last piece of meat.

They like to see suffering.
ouch (I think, I am still not sure that I got what you were saying entirely)
It's just weird that you were confused about why she's a lesbian, even though she's lesbian, as if she can control either characteristic.

Cain 02-01-2006 05:17 PM

Eleventeen, I don't know what planet you live on. Lesbians, especially hot ones, love being touchy-feely in general and especially like doing it with guys, because:

a.) They don't care about the guy and so don't feel at all threatened about what it might make the other guy think, because a relationship is out of the question regardless of the male's attractiveness.

b.) If they DO realize the guy gets uncomfortable or aroused by touchy contact, they'll do it to frustrate him and amuse themselves. I knew a curvy lesbian last year that would constantly accuse me of staring at her ass and boobs, which she would then flash, jiggle, or otherwise advertise. I would run away in discomfort and she would laugh. That's life.

RE: Support

Thanks guys. Especially 'Peer, you were quite helpful. :)

i am the robots 02-01-2006 05:17 PM

Blah I gotta go help my mommy with stuff, peace.
It's just weird that you were confused about why she's a lesbian, even though she's lesbian, as if she can control either characteristic.
You seem to be pretty excited about the fact that she is a lesbian :p

I know, I just phrased it weirdly. I was surprised she was a lesbian because unlike what p0rn lead me to believe, most lesbians are in fact pretty fugly.
I would run away in discomfort and she would laugh. That's life.
Literally run away? Because that image would be pretty funny.

But yeah, Cain is mostly right. I don't get bothered in it when my lesbo friend does it, though, mostly because I'm probably narcissistic about that stuff.

gmoneyguy 02-01-2006 05:23 PM

Hahahaha I could see Cain running off in tears.

I work with a hot lesbian, I already told the story a few pages back.

MBS 02-01-2006 05:24 PM

God, I have the biggest headache. Our band got bored and decided to make our interpretation of a crappy heavy metal band's song. It's pretty cool, I guess. Uploads coming as soon as we export the mp3.

Stoic 02-01-2006 05:31 PM

so, is it a general rule that lesbians tend to be hot or is it just an internet rumor?
so, is it a general rule that lesbians tend to be hot or is it just an internet rumor?
If it's a general rule, then I've been missing out in real life, heh.

On another note, my closest girl friend from high school is a lesbian.

I'm pretty sure that the cases of me and Eleventeen and Cain (I think, he said "busty" but that could mean a lot of things) are exceptions.

Yeah, basically.

I was just like... what? are you serious? what? what? You don't look like a lesbian! You don't act like the stereotype either... gah!

Dude3 02-01-2006 05:40 PM

Has anybody got the new ep from Bring me the Horizon? I've been wanting to get it, and was just wondering if it was any good.

Doh! Are you sure she never showed any signs?

I dont think a lesbian has to behave like a male. She's just a girl -and feels good about it- who attracted by girls (same goes with gay guys). Plus I doubt girls become lesbians because they're ugly (again same goes with gay guys)-->EDIT: now that I think of it no.

She didn't show any signs that I caught on to... she's always said like dude a is so cute or dude b is so hot, and she is really pretty and so forth, but it just seemed like something normal :(.

She could think she's a lesbian when she is really Bi. You may still have a chance.
