oh okay

Yeah, TV on the Radio's new album Return to Cookie Mountain leaked. I'm downloading it now, but it might not be mastered yet...
|
You Am I - Dress Me Slowly
I really dig You Am I at the moment. |
You really need to check it out, man. It's like 18 tracks of filler and 4 good songs.
I thought that there debut was awful. With the exception of Wrong Way, Dreams, and Ambulance the rest was just boring. However I'm looking forward to the sophomore album, probably because the title of the album. |
Speaking of Fiery Furnaces, am I the only one who just doesn't get Blueberry Boat?
|
I've been listening to Wolfmothers' S/T quiet a bit, I like it a lot.
|
oh, the TVOTR is just shoegaze, with a good singer.
|
I don't like TV On the Radio or The Fiery Furnaces.
I do like Binary Star though. And seriously, everyone should check out the album Masters of the Universe. Anyone who likes rap/hip-hop will love it. And there ain't no excuses, cause you can download it for free from http://www.subterraneousrecords.com/motu.html. Do it. |
I liked Straight Street, but that's all I've heard from it.
Today, been listening to Old Time Relijun - 2012. It's.. strange. I think I like it; probably need to listen to it more. |
Speaking of Fiery Furnaces, am I the only one who just doesn't get Blueberry Boat?
Mogwai - Mr. Beast
Leadbelly - Goodnight Irene |
Same here.
I mean, I've tried, it just doesn't work for me. |
I dont get the Fiery Furnaces.
Lately: Vashti Bunyan - Lookaftering The Mamas and the Papas. Mama Cass was amazing. |
I looooved them when I first starting getting into them. I haven't listened to anything in a long time tough, I think I just wore them out.
|
Charles Mingus - The Black Sant & The Sinner Lady
I haven't played this in quite a while. Forgot how amazing it is. |
High Llamas - Hawaii
Porcupine Tree - Deadwing |

Add N to (X) - Avant Hard
Jimmy Smith - Root Down The Planet The - You Absorb My Vision |

never heard it
|
never heard it
i'll upload it for the mailing list if you want |
The Knife - Silent Shout
You know those crappy early-90's computer games that you can usually buy for like $2.50 at cheap stores? And they had really shrill, echoey, vaguely ominous soundtracks consisting of synths and drum machines? That's what this album is.
Yeah, this record is simply bad. I had a hard time choking down 6 songs. TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Született Ghostface - The Pretty Toney Album Can't say I'm digging this one very much. The over the top sexual skits/songs have just been turning me off. Plus the beats/melodies are never that great anyway. I've really liked some Ghostface Killah that I've heard, but this record isn't doing it for me. I'm going to check out some of his past catalogue. |
=)

I did earlier this morning, so whenever the new list gets sent out, it should be in there. :) |
Mr. Cosby, your avatar inspired to me to download some Ted Leo last night, and I really liked it.
I'm digging Mogwai right now. |

Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Született
I think that is a good album. A great album. Since I sent my mp3 player to be repaired, my listening selections have been kind of limited lately. I guess I've been listening to Ghosts of the Great Highway be Sun Kil Moon a lot though. |
