Oh yeah, I know that show. I think I used to watch it, but I don't really remember. I used to watch a lot of cartoons when I was in elementary school, haha.

TSO are an actual orchestra, just with electric guitar players and some other modern day instruments. They're pretty metal-ish, and I think Alex Skolnick is playing with them right now. :D

Vic's AIM name is VBonham01. I contacted him about demos a year ago, and he still hasn't sent me any. I'll see if he's on again today and ask him.

MAthiAS 11-09-2005 09:50 PM

Skolnick... what a crazy bastard. I almost managed to get lessons from him, bit of a hassle though and no car :upset:

They're a cool bunch.

Awesome. Al Pitrelli was pretty good in Megadeth, even though he was on a crap album.

I'm not sure, I signed up for a bunch of different ones when that whole wave of threads came about haha. Was there a seperate thread for the thrash metal mailing list or were the emails given in this thread?

Damn straight. :D

Upon giving Artillery's B.A.C.K. repeated listens, I've concluded that it is indeed better than I previously thought. It has nothing on By Inheritance, though it is definitely a worthy addition to their legacy.

FatalEnergy 11-11-2005 08:26 PM

I still have not heard B.A.C.K yet, I'll have to check it out.

I'm groing impatient of the new Celtic Frost. Tom needs to get his act together. I sure hope it dosen't suck. I'll be pretty openminded toward it as well, I mean.....I liked Cold Lake...so yeah.

I've got an ear infection I've been deaf for the past two days, it majorly blows

Man, I got tons of ear infections as a little kid. I hope you get better man, earaches are no fun. :(

I'm not too excited for the new CF.

Terrorzone 11-11-2005 09:19 PM

Its been a while since I've been in here. I just went on a Vader buying spree. Got Revelations, De Profundis and Future of the Past and the beast. I love Vader. The band and I have a gig tommorow in which we are covering For Those Who died. I can't freaking wait.

Good luck with the cover. It should rock the house. I also have been on a buying spree...the last two albums I got were Nile and Death albums, Leprosy and In Their Darkened Shrines.

Unas Slayer of the Gods is a ****ing awesome song. So is The Blessed Dead. Death is a powerhouse from start to finish on Leprosy...glad I bought it.

Sad thing is now I'm conserving :upset:

Terrorzone 11-11-2005 09:35 PM

Thanks. Those are two great albums. I love Leprosy, Born Dead, Pull the Plug and Left to Die. And yeah Unas is ****ing amazing.

Freezing Moon 11-11-2005 09:39 PM

Death's Demos > all other Death. :)

MAthiAS 11-11-2005 09:41 PM

Nice buys there.

And I still have to find Mantas stuff, I've been putting it off for months.

Don't put it off any longer, it's worth it.

Very easy to find on slsk, it shouldn't take you more than a couple minutes to find a few of them.

MAthiAS 11-11-2005 09:44 PM

Alright, got a couple searches going. :)

Apocalyptic Raids 11-12-2005 01:58 AM

I can't be bothered finding their demos. Scream Bloody Gore owns though.

It was a little bland :(

I was actually expecting something a little more technical.

Exactly. :(

Oh well, one can hope they have better material on the album.
