there are very few metalcore-type bands that I like but from their myspace it sounds like they're worth checking out.

I was just wondering whats the deal with the beginning of Screams Go Unheard by Cryptopsy? First time I heard it I was like wtf because there's no real point for it. The beginning of Crown of Horns is pointless too but its short and badass, same thing with a couple of their other songs but on Screams Go Unheard, its just annoying. Its Almost like the ambiance on Frances The Mute (The Mars Volta), its just annoying. Anyone agree or know what they were trying to do there???? Or am I just ranting.

I don't get it lol. It's like clicky and flubby at the same time. You can't feel the bass at all. I like bass that you can feel, you know what I'm saying?

That's pretty rare in death metal though, there's so much restricting the bass from the real thump sound in the genre.

I'm more of a person that goes for bass you can hear rather than just feel.

I hate going to live shows and only feeling it, but it's indistinguishable as far as sound goes.
