their demos are pretty straightforward and slightly bluesier sounding doom

Their demos aren't very good. The Strength to Dream is really great, but the production is flatter and the vocals are lifeless but in a good way.

Hey any of your droneheads into Yellow Swans? They come more from a psych/drone/noise direction than a metal direction but they would likely appeal to fans of Sunn or Nadja or distorted geetar heaviness in general.
