The round screen thats like on top of that tree? AM clicking it to death and nothing happens
Re-read the last few posts between me and Faith.

Futuro 07-18-2005 01:15 PM

what the hell...... you dont know about tool pong? there are 5 links on the left side of the screen that are hidden, theres a blair report the tool pong, the live thing (which i said is a new riff then some other shit)

Mr Herb 07-18-2005 01:16 PM

ok. . . erm lol . . .wouldve been interesting were it something

Moses 07-18-2005 01:17 PM

Yeah that thing is really annoying.

I hardly ever visit that site. The only stuff worth reading of Blair's is posted on TDN so I never really have a reason too.

I guess I do now, heh :p

Futuro 07-18-2005 01:19 PM
ok. . . erm lol . . .wouldve been interesting were it something
the blair thing is pretty cool, but on both blair reports they are the same thing, (normally) he will change one and the other link will be something else. they are the same now.

oh and to sliptallica, my sense of humor shows up like shit over the internet, so if i say something like an *** hole just know im joking around, (that goes to all)

Dude3 07-18-2005 01:30 PM

Sup guys? Any new news on Tool?

Man, Bill Hicks is great. I just rented his dvd off of Netflix. I can't wait. Also, if you don't have Netflix, get it. It has everything. Its such a great deal.

Sidenote: I was browsing through Myspace, and I found my old science teacher's(he may be teaching my grade this year too) profile. Its great. He changed his name to some very corny name, so he wouldn't get noticed. And he made a few sexual jokes on there. I find it funny that he actually has a life. And if you're wondering what this has to do with Tool, uh, he likes them.

emo=elmow/otheL 07-18-2005 02:41 PM
Do the lines 'squeal pig, squeal' keep floating into your head?

hehe no-one's gonna get that :(
I get it. Me and my dad watched that movie the night before we went streamfishing in Arkansas.

comeoverandhelpmepunchme 07-18-2005 02:43 PM

ok, does anyone know why there are no tabs for tools gapping lotus experience on the tabs part, that song is the hidden track on opiate, please help cos i suck at tabing stuff out my self

emo=elmow/otheL 07-18-2005 02:51 PM

I'm starting to notice you all seem to dwell on songs like the first 3 on Aenema, Sober and Lateralus. It almost seems like you neglect the others. I mean theyre great and all but still...

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 03:01 PM

Are you kidding me? Someone mentions how badass The Grudge is, and you say that?

My favorite songs from each album are 4 Degrees, Third Eye, and Lateralus. All are in the second half of the album.

Huber 07-18-2005 03:13 PM

You are just incredibly wrong.

Lateralus is easily my favorite Tool song at the moment, along with Pu****.

Magicaltroll 07-18-2005 03:26 PM

My favorite song is Bottom right now...
I love the spoken word part :D

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 03:28 PM

What's the connection between Tool and Henry Rollins again? He did the monologue on Bottom, but I don't recall why. :-/

Gotta love Henry Rollins.

One of the highlights of download
What's the connection between Tool and Henry Rollins again? He did the monologue on Bottom, but I don't recall why. :-/
He knew MJK and the band (but he knows everyone, only Alice Cooper knows more people in the industry). Plus Tool supported a few of his shows (and im not sure, but I think he also supported them as well.)

clearvision 07-18-2005 03:31 PM

My favourite tool song will always be push!t...

but other favourites include disposition, eulogy, swamp song, cold + ugly and H.

Nice to see someone got the deliverence thing...*plays duelling banjoes*

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 03:37 PM

I think it would be fun to rank every Tool song in order from favorite to least favorite. :p Hard, but it would be fun to see what everyone really thinks of Tool.

Maybe its cause were doping covers on some of them? anyways we talk bout lots of songs here even lots of bands and even different languages sometimes :)

Every song? That's hard. How about like a top 20?
Every song? That's hard. How about like a top 20?
Sounds like a time passer. Ill set the ball rolling on it.

It'll take ages though

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 04:25 PM

Man, I tried to rank them. I can't do it. :( It's seriously too hard. :p

Anyways, I was playing Ticks and Leeches, really getting into it, and I got to the second chorus, and I was strumming the hell of of those chords, and it seriously pulled my guitar a step out of tune in 15 seconds. That's how intense I was playing. :-/

METAL!!!

Adam Jones is GOD 07-18-2005 04:30 PM

Intense is where the string and the pick break at the same time mid tremelo

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 04:34 PM

The pick I was playing with is so worn down too. The logo is totally gone, and at the tip, it's basically a plastic dagger. :-/

Huber 07-18-2005 04:34 PM

I broke a stick one time and the top half flew at me and hit me square in the face and I fell over.

That was intense.

Expresso 07-18-2005 04:48 PM

WE OUGHT TO DO SOBER, guys.

!

I'm still workin on Stinky though.

Syncratic 07-18-2005 05:11 PM

I could maybe record vocals for some songs. I have a pretty good voice, I can emulate Maynard in a few songs, I just don't have any recording programs, all I've got is an MP3 player with a microphone.

What do you guys think?
What's the connection between Tool and Henry Rollins again? He did the monologue on Bottom, but I don't recall why. :-/
In an interview it said he lost in a poker game to them (obviously a joke thing or could not be) and he had a debt he could not pay so they said make an appereance on the album.

Trintar_VIII 07-18-2005 05:16 PM

I can play drums for any songs that need it. I have a microphone, though I'm not sure if I would be able to get it to work nicely. I'll give it a try, if there's a need for more drum parts. Just let me know.

Also, I've been behind on the pages (about 50), so is there any updates on the new album?

Many rumors have started because of a hint dropped in an update. the hint was that morse code thing in my user-title.

The most legit thing to come from it is they think the name of it is Elephthelia.

Dude3 07-18-2005 05:18 PM

Do you guys need any guitar for the covers? If you do, I'll definately be glad to contribute. Although, I have a feeling we'll be the only thread who actually makes a cover.

Oh yeah, just watched the new Lamb of God dvd. It rocks \m/

Well, there was a fake album title, some Morse Code business, a few more fake album titles, and some business about sausages and a guy named Joe.

That was very well said.

Syncratic 07-18-2005 05:20 PM

Hey, guys...why don't we do a massive, thread-encompassing cover of Third Eye? Everyone contributes something! Anybody up for it?

Why thank you! :thumb:

Trintar_VIII 07-18-2005 05:22 PM

Haha, yeah, I saw the sausage bit on their site. Too bad that there are too many rumors flying around, now it'll be hard to detect real info.
