No matter who is said, as with every genre, there is always someone hating while others loving. Who would you suggest then? (you too imperial)
check out Oblige, Mirror of Dead Faces, Dead Man In Reno, The End of All Reason, From the Shallows, Salt the Wound, Viatrophy, and Vira. |
the only one i've heard is Salt The Wound, who are surprisingly good, the random pig squeals i could do without. One of the better deathcore releases imo, mainly because his lyrics aren't retarted and are actually real life related. He's not singing about raping corpses and satan...
|
I honestly don't like much deathcore at all but if i had to name a favorite it would probably be war from a harlots mouth
WFAHM is awesome. |
only "deathcore" I listen to is
Veil of Maya, Burning the Masses, After the Burial, ABRB, Fallen Figure, old Viatrophy, some Red Shore they're basically melo/tech metal w/ tacked on breakdowns typical chuggy brutul deathcore doesn't appeal to me (like Whitechapel) but can be good live (Suicide Silence, Carnifex) |
So basically, the less good bands.
check out Oblige, Mirror of Dead Faces, Dead Man In Reno, The End of All Reason, From the Shallows, Salt the Wound, Viatrophy, and Vira.
Good list. |
Oblige and Mirror of Dead Faces are extremely generic
never heard of a few of those |
So basically, the less good bands.
Good list.
thanks, i dont listen to much deathcore but the ones i like are really good. i probably shouldve put Rifles At Recess in there too
Oblige and Mirror of Dead Faces are extremely generic never heard of a few of those
Oblige generic? not too sure about that. youre probably right you listen to Burning the Masses |
when I saw Oblige they just sounded like every other deathcore band, maybe with a little bit more talent
vocalist looks like a mobster and has the cliche "I'm ****ing tough as hell, don't **** with me" mentality. Matches his cliche vocals |
Oblige slays. vocals arent original i agree but they still own. i dont really care how they look. their guitarists are really good
|
check out Oblige, Mirror of Dead Faces, Dead Man In Reno, The End of All Reason, From the Shallows, Salt the Wound, Viatrophy, and Vira.
Got those ones already. I can't get into Dead Man In Reno . Salt The Wound I've been interested in getting
that really was hard to find.... http://metalholicer.blogspot.com/2007/06/besieged-atlantis-2007.html
Was that sarcasm or not? Coz I struggled with it (finding the dl). |
I was listening to Ley Lines and Counting Hallways To The Left back to back today.
Lack of Patty still upsets me. But goddamn Jesse's vocals got better... like I already knew that, but I didn't realize how much so. |

Also loving your rec on Spawn Of Possession some more tech death prolly my next venture. Our own Aussis boys Psycroptic are good imo. |
old Viatrophy = their ep
Psycroptic is pretty boring imo, especially live |
Do you have Embrace The End? You better have ETE.
|
Was that sarcasm or not? Coz I struggled with it (finding the dl).
lol yeah it actually took some time to find |
old Viatrophy = their ep
Do you have Embrace The End? You better have ETE.
Me? if so, it's on my list. I know bout em coz of you so I'm gonna check em. Theres just so much good stuff (old &new) around atm. |
lol yeah it actually took some time to find
Yeah I struggled last night, I found a rapidshare dl but they generally suck nuts. |
Yeah i enjoy Psycroptic's albums but for some reason their live performance isn't very exciting.....
|
i need to DL me some of their stuff, best album?
|
(OB)Servant is their latest, good clean production and some great tracks prolly their best. Symbols Of Failure is a little more raw but not too bad. Anything older I'm not too sure about but now I am interested for some reason.
I have to learn the art of multiple quoting too. Sorry fellas. |
idk they're all pretty much equal in my eyes but one of my favorite songs by them is The Colour of Sleep on their The sceptor of ancients album
|
thanx, gives me something to do
|
Removing The Common Bond is a good track off (ob)servant
|
i'm downloading (ob)servant now and prolly some of their older stuff later or tomorrow
|
I kinda like a couple The Band Apart songs. :[
|
Are they spanish dxc?
|
Anything by Psycroptic that isn't Sceptre of the Ancients is a waste of your time (and bandwidth). Far and away their best and their new vocalist is terrible.
But why are they being discussed in a deathcore thread? I mean, other than because you guys are morons? |
Yeah I was thinking that, my bad for the mention :(
|
Are they spanish dxc?
I dunno. lol what would a Spanish bree sound like. |
