Actually, Catch Without Arms is there. I only ask for mainstream because they don't have any even slightly obscure bands. I'll probably go with the Dredg, but since I only have 10 dollars I'll only get 5/6 of the album.

Yeah, they are really terrible. Some bands only have a few songs, not even full albums.

We used a condom each time. proof they ain't bulletproof I guess...
ICB: Not sure what that shot does, so it might be what guitrguy says, it might not. Sperm can stay alive for up to six weeks provided they didn't hit the wall on the way in, or if an applied spermacide didn't kill them off, so you've gotta have backups with regard to shots and stuff. I've never had sex without the double cordon of condoms and birth control pills. Your chances of inadvertant pregnancy are MUCH slimmer with that.

In any case, good luck.
thanks. I don't know, guitrguy could be right...

Six weeks? Where did you get that from?

They don't even survive that long inside the male, let alone once they've been ejected with no nourishment. Remember, these are simple cells with a small amount of carbohydrates. They stop "swimming" quickly, and die soon after. I'd think 2 days was far too much.

Eh, but you can get the full album with artwork etc from Best Buy for under 10 guaranteed.

Bartender 01-18-2006 07:44 PM
If iTunes doesn't have it, then it really is as terrible as they say.
Well I didn't mean that they might not have it, just that it's been released less than a year and hasn't garnered that much attention or accolades, so it really hasn't had time to be mainstream or influential or anything.

Yeah, this is right. Go go, Bio Major!

It takes a couple days for sperm to swim up and to the Fallopian tubes to meet an egg. If they don't meet an egg and fertilize, then they die.

Get 10 songs that remind you of your childhood that you don't own the CDs of, radio hits and the like.

Ahhh, the fickle life of a sperm. I often ponder what life must be like, for oppresed organisms.

Jom 01-18-2006 07:58 PM

Okay guys, I have a request. Whoever can help me out will rule.

My uni has blocked ports for torrents and downloading, so I can't access this never-going-to-be-released-unless-the-band-gets-a-new-record-deal album.

If I send someone the torrent file, can someone please retrieve the files and put it up on YSI or RapidShare or MegaUpload and send it to me?

That'd rule.

Thanks!

Wait, sperm aren't really organisms, are they? It's not like you're carrying billions of little organisms inside your balls right now.

But I may be wrong - I'm not Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Niiiiiiiiiice. I'm incredibly jealous. I saw this guy on TV that was valuing a guitar given to him by a session player with the Beatles who also did some guitar tech work with Pink Floyd. He used the guitar several times with both bands, then signed the back of it and gave it to his mate. Not only was it a rare guitar, but it was in near perfect condition and as such was worth 50 000 dollars!

Maybe it's more like six days. I'm remembering something in that old "What's Happening to my Body" book that I got way back when, where it talked about not trusting calenders and stuff because even though there's a period where it's impossible to impregnate a girl, the sperm might survive long enough to hit the egg when the girl ovulates. It's a short period of time, and now I'm thinking that that's extremely stupid of me to say six weeks, so yeah. Chalk it up to temporary retardation. :p

They're organisms in the same sense the cells in your arm are organisms. I.e. They aren't organisms at all.

I went and downloaded bitTorrent from their site because it's so easy to use, but the problem is, again, that my uni blocks connections to those types of programs.

It was either let the file download for three days and risk getting caught by the IT jackoffs, or wait until I go home again (which won't be anytime soon, regrettably), or hope someone bails me out.

Thanks though for the help!

And yeah, Bill is teh r00l.

Actually, I thnik your body is made up of many little organisms. These tiny critters are made up of one cell, therefore dubbed unicellular. Unicellular organisms (ie Amoebas) are the lowest form of life on Earth. Yep, right down there with the entire residence of the state of Kentucky.
