*takes ye olde famous gun*

*points at kids playing with pokemon cards*

*After a long drawn out hostage situation invloving 5 squad cars, and a sniper team, i eentually come out of the room and agree to let the kids go. They later become rehibiitated into normal society and after finding a new found respect for life, they no longer waste it on pokemon cards. Me in the meantime makes a desperate escape, evading police capture, involving a pointless dive off a waterfall, to return to the thread and help out with the night shift*

*picks up gun again*

*charges with jonny*

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 04:55 PM

Yeah, BUT QWACKY HAD A BROTHER!

So lets keep our guns away, we shall revert to ninja swords

(think im out of scenarios for now)

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:02 PM

i dont even see Pink Floyd anymore when I see that picture, shows you how much it is yours now. I had a random duck pic on my computer for ages, idea suddenly seemed good to do an avatar of one.

though I miss my mage one

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:09 PM

They are very very good. if you have ever played a Final fantasy game, (unless you were death) the music would blow you away. So the Black mages basically re worked the music to be played by a guitar/bass/drum/keyboard combo. And its done by incredibly talented muscians. I did a review of the album (me goes to find link)

You can download their tracks here http://www.geocities.com/akai_sakura/TBM/downloads.html

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:18 PM

Shockingly, that my only CD review to date. though i have got a half finished mogwai one waiting, and I would like to do some Biffy Clyro albums, and probably Reuben and Million dead. Just as soon as the FA is out of the way

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:27 PM

I always fear that, I go into the reviewd list, check under M, and hope I dont find any Mogwai. Not a lot that can be done though, dibs wouldnt work well. Are the obscure bands you're reviewing, or ones that are bound to get reviewed?

half term already? I thought that was next week? Or maybe its just stupid old Leicestershire that does it differently.

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:34 PM

Is the REM review their latest one? Im looking at buying that, as well as hurrying up and getting tickets for their summer shows (amazing that they choose to play at Forest's ground, what a combination)

I had a look at the OK Computer tab book a while ago and cried :upset:

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:43 PM

Like I saw mentioned somewhere on here, Radiohead truly are a band band, all member are highly skilled and create amazing music that goes so well with each other component.

Im saddened to hear thats how their new album is like, I wasn't overly impressed with Leaving New York, so I might just miss it out. Their greatest hits CD is still one of the best i've bought this year though. If you send me the odd good song at some point, ill see if it is worth buying though. I have a rule with 50 -50 albums, if I like at least 3 tracks, ill buy it.

Wow, i've just tuned my guitar by ear. I didnt even know I could do that. Me feels more musical now :)

Adam Jones is GOD 10-18-2004 05:50 PM

I just thought it was mediocre (get me my dictionary, Qwacky Mk II) at best, or maybe my musical tastes were elsewhere when I heard it.

I have to tune a lot, since I do the evil drop D tuning, and occassionaly go down 1/2 step. Plus I end up being lured to use my whammy bar for end of song madness. Ill lock it up out of harms way one day

apacherosepeacock 10-19-2004 01:20 PM

evening.

i agree - i like london, but i probably wouldnt want to live in most of it (maybe a few parts - but i doubt i can afford those, ever somehow)

Untitled 10-19-2004 01:22 PM

I dont mind london, today someone was going on about to go down one weekend, whiched be cool, but i perfer the north.

apacherosepeacock 10-19-2004 01:24 PM

i prefer the south.

but then i live there so i would, despite spending a fair ammount of time up there (birmingham, bolton and the lakes - both one hell of a drive away from london)

Untitled 10-19-2004 01:26 PM

WOW, bolton, thats near me

apacherosepeacock 10-19-2004 01:28 PM

its nowhere near me but i have family who live near there, so about 3 times a year im up there, my friend has a house in the lakes, and they allways hold at least 2 parties a year there, with about 60 other people (thats allways good)

Untitled 10-19-2004 01:29 PM

Sweet, i just jump on the 471 bus from pretty much outside of my house and it takes me striaght to bury, then bolton, its fun, but the big huge swimming pool closed down :(
