SESSIONS, CREDITS
& LUNCH BREAKS FROM • • • – • • – – • – –

Although it might not get mentioned on the next CD, for the past couple of weeks, a multi-tasking chef Maynard has been providing the barbecue for his fellow band mates to consume at lunch breaks during the recording process. However, last Thursday (or maybe it was Friday), a guy named Joe (not Ron!) something or other who is working with the band grilled up some kind of sausages that were described as “excellent.” Knowing this is a bit vague for many Tool enthusiasts who want specifics about the recording process, tomorrow I will attempt to find out some more details about these sausages of Joe’s.
Hmmm...

clearvision 07-18-2005 08:07 AM

I thought it had already been posted, Blair is a faggot.

/RushFan\ 07-18-2005 08:23 AM

never heard them before but I heard they have some kick *** drums, is this true?

clearvision 07-18-2005 08:39 AM

Tool? Yeah their drums are pretty special...

Otherside 07-18-2005 10:11 AM

On another note i have adventured into the realms of the smashing pumpkins, I downloaded mellon collie and the infinite sadness...we shall see how this goes...
/awaits with optimisim.

I have Rotten Apples and that's awesome as it is. I bought it the same time I got all my other great greatest hits albums. (REMs and Soundgardens)

clearvision 07-18-2005 10:51 AM

Yeah first side of mellon collie was good.
What is that symbol on DC's shirts and that Tool always has on stage? That purple/yellow/green thing?

Sorry if that's a stupid question but it's driving me nuts.
The symbol in the middle is the geometric form of Merkaba.

As far as the symbols surrounding (e.i. the pentigon facing up and down) could symbolize the penticle meaning balance of life. Facing up the male version, and facing down the female version.

As far as the surrounding geometric shapes of that, I have no idea. But then with TOOL it could mean something to them, in turn makes more sense than the later lol
This Lateralus code crap seems bogus.
Hey DJ,
Dude, I don't mean to sh*t on your parade or anything, (and I know I'm still a noob) but everything I have seen you post on this thread thus far is of nothing productive.

If you're not insulting something or saying that something is "gay", you really have nothing to say. I just think that the TOOL thread is something completely opposite of that. I'm not here to flame on you or anything, but come on. It just kills the feeling of the thread, I think.

Opinions are cool. It's what makes us us. But if an opinion isn't productive, then it becomes a rant. And no one likes crying.

Just a thought.

He's probably saying that they found a cool idea for the album. Sausages was probably just a metaphor.

Maybe its as simple as: everyone wants to know some stuff about the recording process, so he did tell us some things about it. what they eat for lunch.

Thor 07-18-2005 11:27 AM

Who else in here thinks that "The Grudge" is a great song? After listening to it today I finally realized how great it is.

You are the smartest n00b I've ever seen.

Anyway, does anybody know what Blair could be telling us, aside from what the band enjoy to eat?

Here's one far out idea.

Sausages = songs.

Joe = some guy who'll guest appear on one track. Either with vocals or guitar.

Re-read it thinking like that.

Otherside 07-18-2005 12:21 PM

The sausages could easily be tracks that have been mixed and stuff and are ready to be put on cd, or any other wild variety of things.

But cheers anyway, that reminds me of its roots

For this page...

The name is Elephtheria. I think it's a good name. Far better than Teleincision and Bliboran.

Btw, if you're referring to the link on the right side of the monitor (MJK standing onstage in the blue looking arena), clicking it 10 times gives me an ear seizure.

Would be an awesome riff though

Moses 07-18-2005 12:55 PM

Elephtheria even makes sense with the release date theory because of eclipses and space are sometimes related to aliens, which supposedly was written on the Roswell crash site.
