I thought the new Dawn Of The Dead was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, without trying to be funny.
The remake?
I don't know much about it, but the original was meant to be funny at parts.. So I guess the remake might have picked up on that

Bartender 01-18-2006 03:25 PM
Might kill you...but it'll be interesting to see.
Well if you only drink for one of them, and like I say avoid the lighter fluid, I'd say you stood a chance.

Oh God, that thing was officially the greatest invention ever.

Ah, if it's only one of them, then it wouldn't be so bad.

I'll say it again too, Chuck Norris movies are funny as hell without trying to be funny.
The humour in those movies is intentional. George Romero was known to add little twisted humourous elements, which the remake played tribute too. Oh, and I have around 24 gigs of music and it's rising...daily.

I couldn't stop laughing at the intro to Land of the dead.. That zombie big band.. ...

PinkFreud 01-18-2006 03:40 PM

i have a little more than 200 actual cds. but i have almost 1500 albums on my computer. 109.25 gigs.
Ah, if it's only one of them, then it wouldn't be so bad.
Well it'd be a little strange for you, one person, to drink what two people are drinking in a scene, especially if those two people are Withnail and I. Besides which I don't think there are any scenes where I drinks alone, apart from maybe the very first one. You'd have enough trouble keeping up with Withnail.

Lord Abortion 01-18-2006 03:44 PM

Exactly.
And I feel quotes would be needed.

I want the finest wines available to humanity!

i'm currently wondering what the hell this film is about. i know you've told me about it before, but that's about it.

NP: Thunderstone - Without Wings.

Bartender 01-18-2006 03:52 PM

It's about two unemployed actors in London in the 60s, who go to the country to take a break.

That's pretty much it for plot, but it doesn't need a plot.

/makes mental note to watch it sometime.

bugger, i missed Kill Bill: Vol. 2 last night, i need to see that.

Lord Abortion 01-18-2006 04:02 PM

It's just ludicrously funny.

You could sit and quote it all day.

Josh 01-18-2006 04:05 PM

films like that are good. although the best thing to sit around quoting is Monty Python.

Stoic 01-18-2006 04:14 PM

:chug: to Mose...but your postcount is 4000

Aw3someman 01-18-2006 04:16 PM
:chug: to Mose...but your postcount is 4000
10000th in community thread.

Spaceballs is the ultimate movie to quote.

Deconstruction 01-18-2006 05:03 PM

Chuck Prophet anyone?
Spaceballs is good, but not great...Sorry.

Shattered_Future 01-18-2006 05:04 PM

The Karate Kid has its moments as well too, but I hated that movie...

I Hate cars. As it turns it wasn't the solenoid which means I can't fix it, and I'm going to have to a mechanic do it and spend alot more money then I really need to be spending.
I wish I made enough to get a new car.

TheDMV 01-18-2006 05:44 PM

What's up fellas?

Spaceballs was a hilarious film. It's just one of those movies with an allstar cast.

Shadows 01-18-2006 06:02 PM

Spaceballs was hilarious. I love the part with the Mr. Coffee machine that looked like a radar.

Kurtz 01-18-2006 06:07 PM

Spaceballs kicks, but the best Brooks is History of the World Part I.

If you ever want a laugh, get a bunch of your buddies together and watch Karate Kid II or Karate Kid III, the two movies where the Pat Moritia/Ralph Macchio on-screen relationship got uncomfortably close. Preferably do this after a few drinks or passing the pipe around, and in no time people will be grunting out (in their best Morita imitation), "Daniel-san, ever kiss other man?" or "Daniel-san, allow me to show you special backrub!"

Deconstruction 01-18-2006 06:19 PM

Hmm, are trojans bad, like horribly bad, will they damage files etc etc? Apparently Norton has detected one.

Lord Abortion 01-18-2006 06:19 PM

Spaceballs is Awesome.

"I bet she gives great helmet..."

They can be, but usually if you catch them any damage can be fixed or avoided. Find out what it is and search the systemworks website for a fix, dont worry.
