Wouldn't you be a rep whore if you only had 291 rep :(
I want stars!

Distant Echoes 12-20-2004 05:06 PM

How many people can you rep before you get the "to much rep" Message? and how many to get a star?

I think i have the least here, im like, less then 50. I have a long way to go. Be a friend and Help a broken man here...
Wouldn't you be a rep whore if you only had 291 rep :(

haha ya.

You need 1000 pts and post to get stars, and you need to be a memeber for more then 3 months. I'm not sure how much until you run out, but I should get mine back sometime tonight.

shortass 12-20-2004 05:13 PM

Well I've been around 3 months
I'm over half-way post wise
Hopefully my rep will rise quite a bit soon (contributions are more than welcome ;))

shortass 12-20-2004 05:58 PM

Well I'll tell ya...all you need to do is rep me ;)

jpj 12-20-2004 05:58 PM

Feel free to test on me.

Riva 12-20-2004 06:00 PM

Both of you need to look in your CPs. :)

shortass 12-20-2004 06:05 PM

jpj 12-20-2004 06:05 PM

It's worth 92 :thumb:

shortass 12-20-2004 06:07 PM

oh right missed the extra 100 before :upset:

Mekkalayakay 12-20-2004 09:08 PM

So I've heard that you can download full albums at a time off of Soulseek. How do you do this?

And if you can't, please say so, because I've been trying to figure it out for a good five minutes now. :upset:

Per Ardua Ad Astra 12-20-2004 09:12 PM

You just right click on the folder that contains the album and click download folder.

Bartender 12-20-2004 09:14 PM

If you browse someone's files, rather than highlighting individual tracks, just right click the folder (if the album is in it's own folder) and select Download File. That'll create a folder inside whichever folder you download files to, into which the tracks will be downloaded.

If you're inexperienced with Soulseek and you just mean searching, then search for the album name rather than the song name, and hopefully you'll get all the tracks in one place, ready for clickidy-clicking.

EDIT: Damn you, Per Ardua.

Mekkalayakay 12-20-2004 09:48 PM

Thanks, both of you.

Bartender 12-20-2004 10:12 PM

No problem :)

I can't believe I used the phrase "clickidy-clicking".

Mekkalayakay 12-20-2004 10:15 PM

Descriptiveness is the best way to go.

Now that I know how to actually get full albums, I can't decide which one I want. :upset:

My only rule: If I can't ever find it in stores, I'm fine with downloading it.

CaptainWaits 12-20-2004 10:38 PM

^^The only time I'll download an album is if I really don't care to support the band...........If I love the band I will only buy their albums and not rip em off

Mekkalayakay 12-20-2004 10:48 PM

I don't really have access to buying albums online, so I can't do anything about it. :(
