Jimmy Eat World was pretty good. Me and my mate were on the train, these two girls go on at another stop and they pretty much followed us everywhere once we were in Nottingham. It was scary, we walked to the show together, hung out in line together and went into the gig together. Then JEW came on, everyone went crazy and we split up :(

Oh, and these was this drunk guy who congradulated me for wearing a TBS shirt. Then he ran down the street full-speed and hit the back of a car and did a flip. It was frigging awesome.

Apartment (The support band) were decent actually. They were like The Killers but without the keyboardist and with a singer more resemblent to Adam Lazarra. I enjoyed them to be honest. JEW were so energetic, and they played lots of songs from Bleed American and Clairty even though the tour was for Futures. The encore was "Goodbye Denver Harbor", "Pain" and "Sweetness", and it just went mental. Hundreds of people just chanting "Woah!" during that song was amazing.

After the gig however was a bit of a letdown. My friend's parents were picking us up, and being the responisble people they are, they had a few drinks at the pub. So we get to them, and his mum had a shitfit about him buying a shirt because "he doesn't have the money". This coming from the same mum who just bought him a car! And then the bitch had the nerve to go off on one at me, acting as if she was my mum! I so wanted to just tell her to shove it and get a lift home with someone else (I saw someone else I knew at the gig as well, which was cool).

Then I got 6 hours sleep, and went to school for 2 lessons which barely did anything. And now I am here talking about it on MX

NP: "L' Via L' Viaquez"

Kif 06-23-2005 02:57 PM

Have you heard the single version of that song? They completely ripped it apart. It's like 4 minutes long and is pretty much the start bit

Iscariot 06-23-2005 02:59 PM

NP: Goldfinger - "99 Red Balloons"
No, not really. Have you ever watched Supersize Me? Some guy has been eating Big Macs several times a day, every day for the past like.. 20 years and hasn't gained an ounce, and he's not even physically active.
That's not what that movie's about. And the guy in there who's the Big Mac freak had a huge gut and looked like he was stuck living in the 70's. The guy who ate McD's for 30 days straight ended up gaining several pounds, and found out he had taken up several serious health risks.

I know what the movie was about, I was citing it as an example. And are you kidding me? That big-mac guy is like 9% bodyfat. He doesn't have a gut, or much beyond skin and bones for that matter. Besides, you make it sound like one Sausage Biscuit is going to kill me. Give me a break here.

That's lame. That organ ending to "The Widow" is so annoying.

No no, I don't think it's going to kill you at all. I'm justs aying that for alot of people, eating McDonalds everyday isn't going to give you 9% body fat. That's not the natural result. The way you put it made it sound like I could eat that shit every day of my life for twenty years and still be completly active and healthy, when in most cases, that just isn't so. Not trying to ride your ass or anything, I eat fast food just about every day too. Except I pwn that McDonalds guy with 4.5% body fat.

I don't eat it everyday. I eat it like, once every three months.
