or was that just me?

I did.

I went to all the ones you did but a bit earlier than you and claimed that you were a paranoid schizophrenic who believed he'd spent the last 5 years of his life studying but had actually been touching children inappropriately during Sunday school.

They seemed to understand.

Kuffuffled 03-05-2011 07:29 AM

JoshIsNumber3 03-05-2011 02:12 PM

Epidemechanical 03-05-2011 03:23 PM

just bought a cort curbow 6 bass guitar

jelly

Squirrel 03-05-2011 05:13 PM

I'm not raging at all. I get the impression though that you're a very damaged, insecure person and you try to get over that by immersing yourself in your studies. Trying to proe to yourself/others you're good at something, then that mentality engenders that smug nature you have.

I meant the "no one really gives a shit" just like that, not some tough guy or jealous thing, no ones cares.

Or I could be way off mark, we'll never know.

Epidemechanical 03-05-2011 05:17 PM

why does everyone hate each other on the internet what is this 2004 quit bitching you bunch of pusscs

<3 free love

Royd Rage 03-06-2011 12:15 AM

Although I kinda enjoy Josh's posts, I agree with this.

Sad But True 03-06-2011 11:51 AM

Also: Youtube seems to think that the most appropriate advertising for me is an advert for singlemuslim.com.

pretty far off the mark there tbh. in fact, i've only become so immersed in my research relatively recently when it became apparent that my field of study is the natural progression for molecular science and psychology as a whole. Understanding the molecular and chemical processes by which physiology of the brain manifests itself and the subtle changes therein that manifest in behavior, will lead to a completely different paradigm than what is studied in biology, chemistry, neurology, psychology, philosophy. It has nothing to do with finding refuge in it because of some supposed short coming of my person but because of the thrill and excitation of being involved in a project that has the potential to further the advancement of the species at breakneck speed.

In fact, I'll go even further and say that a damaged, insecure person cannot survive and advance in the field because it requires a particular degree of confidence and assertiveness to perform one's research in a constantly evolving field of study. To disagree with established researchers and develop new microscopy, molecular staining, and nuclei testing techniques requires the ability to establish yourself as a capable researcher and person. The meek are not sought out because they lack the self-aggrandizing that is necessary to articulately promote research findings/theories to the greater body of science. If you want to call a particular self assurance and self satisfaction at where I've brought myself, "smugness" then you're goddamn right I'm smug.

to sum up: lol okay chris

Sad But True 03-06-2011 12:07 PM

Now, see, I enjoyed that post. But I still don't care. But, I know that Josh doesn't give a shit that I don't give a shit, so it's all good.

JoshIsNumber3 03-06-2011 12:08 PM

yeah true what up sbt

(*The Noonward Race*) 03-06-2011 12:10 PM

nm nm

Sad But True 03-06-2011 12:11 PM

Nm dude, nm. Well, actually, there's a fucking lot up with me but there's a time and a place for that and neither of them are on the internet. Citalopram makes everything better.

Played a rather bloody good gig last night, then proceeded to get very drunk which probably wasn't a good idea and I woke up with blood all down my arm and a fuck tonne of club stamps all over my arms and forehead.

The Transporter 03-06-2011 01:21 PM
