Noooo Just Listen To Tool
There is nothing wrong with variation.

Dude3 06-22-2005 03:34 PM

I've been really liking Neurosis. What album of theirs do you suggest I get? I'm thinking either "Souls at Zero", or "Through Silver in Blood".

I will be leaving for Judas Priest in less than an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't have a group full of virtuosos. That would just be bland. :p (*cough*Dream Theater *cough*)

So Moses, are you gonna record anything for us soon?
Ugh, my family won't get outta the house. Maybe tommorow. But when I have time I'll do my best to give you a quality recording, unlike my preview for Part of Me which was done on the other side of a tunnell with a noseplug. :p

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-22-2005 03:52 PM

Rothmans-Ok, enough whoring.

Moses- Are you going to record Stinkfist first? or what..
oh yeaaa!! home run for the turtles :)
What songs are you doing drum tracks for? And if you're doing Stinkfist then you should do that next.

Mr Herb 06-22-2005 04:07 PM
i have the salival tracks if anybody wants them, i think theres a way i can send them to you
erm lets try it out dude

Futuro 06-22-2005 04:07 PM

matter already has a stinkfist recorded i thought

Dude3 06-22-2005 04:22 PM

See ya guys. I'm going to leave for Judas Priest now. I might do a review of the concert tomorrow.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-22-2005 04:46 PM
matter already has a stinkfist recorded i thought
Nope. That's for you to do. :D

Moses- Ok, either one would be great. You should probably finish 46&2 just so we have something done. :-/ Things should start picking up for Stinkfist. Iv'e spoken with Teh JoZ0rz and he said he would redo Stinkfist, and Marshall will hopefully have the drummies up sometime soon. (I hope, at least. :p)

Futuro 06-22-2005 04:53 PM

so am i playing to your track jake (which by the way was very good :) )

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-22-2005 04:58 PM

Yes/Thanks. :)

Did you hear all the troubles I had recording that track? :p

First, I learned it, then, that day I recorded it good, but I used too much flange. Then I tried recording again, but I got interrupted by my mom. Tried again, got interrupted by my dad. Then, the next day I recorded it almost flawlessly, but I forgot to save it. (lol) I was wicked pissed by that point, so I decided, w/e I'm just gonna record this one more time, and if it's not good, I give up.

Luckily, I got it well enough. :p There is one section that is a bit muddy due to the flange, but it should be fine once there are drums/bass/vox.

Futuro 06-22-2005 05:34 PM

ill jam to it today ...im thinking about doing a multi track with a djembe...would that be cool??

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-22-2005 05:41 PM

A...djembe?? What the hell is a djembe?

Oh, and also, do you have any ideas for the electronic drum intro? I beleive that Ben has been working with Fruity Loops trying to figure something out. I also toyed with it for about 5 minutes 2 nights ago, but I gave up, due to my lack of skill in the area of Fruity Loops. :p

Futuro 06-22-2005 05:48 PM

african percussion instrument

i had an idea to day also....im gonna take roto toms and tune them to D,A,D and play all the open chords adam plays on drums :p ..(not for the recording ...just for fun) :)

Doomed To Crumble 06-22-2005 05:59 PM

me and my friend did 46&2 and its not that bad but i dont no how to record

Futuro 06-22-2005 06:04 PM
me and my friend did 46&2 and its not that bad but i dont no how to record
can you play the solo?

Doomed To Crumble 06-22-2005 06:22 PM

Futuro 06-22-2005 06:24 PM

that is still very impressive for 2 years. you should do the next drum off.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-22-2005 06:26 PM

How long have you been playing teh drummieZ Marshall?

I've played geetar for a year.

Futuro 06-22-2005 06:31 PM

So you did it in one take?

Futuro 06-22-2005 06:41 PM
Record it! I'd love to hear how that sounds
i might sometime ill have to figure out the placing of hats and roto's in between first :thumb:

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-22-2005 06:53 PM

No, it took me 4 or 5 tries, but I only had one take that I actually fucked up on.

Doomed To Crumble 06-22-2005 06:58 PM

ya the only trouble that i have with the solo is mainly dannys climax at the end
