Some dudes opened up a venue 6 miles from my house. I can drive there in like 10 minutes and all the shows are $5/$6. The first show is Sinking Ships with More to Pride and a bunch of sweet local hardcore bands. My life is changed :')

Ahhhh Sinking Ships is soooo good. NYC has pretty awful local bands... we only have the tough guy/mosh bands.

I prefer the bands from DC than most of those from NYC.
