i found the most useless pedal ever http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=959&ParentId=260# i thought only ehx were allowed to make pedals that turn music into unintelligible noise LOLOLOLO |
I like boobies...
Have a nice day all |
yeah good thing you found that
|
srs i wouldnt know what to do with my audio patterns
|
Sup purp, nut much is going on here at all. I'm in the summer holidays, been bored shitless because I've got nothing to do, and have had nothing to do for about 2 months. Gonna be back at uni in about a month though.
And yeah, the slicer seems pointless. Was quite cool on the GT-8 as a sorta little addition but I can't see any reason to get a pedal, nevermind a dual pedal just for slicing. |
yeah good thing you found that
yep, all by myself. no help at all.
And yeah, the slicer seems pointless. Was quite cool on the GT-8 as a sorta little addition but I can't see any reason to get a pedal, nevermind a dual pedal just for slicing.
maybe they just weren't using it right on the video or something, but it sounds like its for people who can't play staccato riffs. |
The best way to think of it is like those proper old timey synth sequencers that just repeat a pattern over and over, but this time the notes are from the guitar and it's just an amp envelope. That's kinda the advantage that it isn't a straight tremolo and you can do a bit more with it.
Also it's pretty cool you can adjust duty cycle.... |

btw sup wit it LFD
Got an ear infection, which hurts like hell, giving me head aches almost all day, which give me neck aches, which in turn have found some way to give me back aches though I didn't think that was going to happen. Still going to see Inglorious Bastards at a midnight showing though... cause I need something good about my day. I spent $488.21 on what will hopefully be the books for my last college semester, and then like $50 on food because I just got back in to Baton Rouge last night and had no food what so ever. I have one pill of hydrocodone left over from getting my appendix out over summer, and a few dabbles of boredom here and there. Seriously thinking about it... cause my body is just against me whole heartedly. |

Thousands of hot blondes go to school, reason enough for me. I for some ungrateful reason chose a major that is worth a damn, a.k.a. 95% of the students which take it are guys because girls usually aren't motivated to take on such a degree. I swear, in 5 years I think I've had 10-15 different girls in my engineering classes. That is it, in 5 ****ing years 10-15 different girls in my engineering classes. There were like two which looked good, and the rest not so much.
However, I am taking two freshman classes to fill out my schedule this semester (government wont give me money unless I'm full time). So, hopefully at least my communication studies class will be 3/4 women like back in the olden days when I was taking cmst classes for my humanitarian classes, or wetf they were. I mean how many hot blondes can you pack in to a room that seats 700 people? probably about 200, with maybe another 300 women who aren't hot blondes but may be hot in their own rights. As the dorm overseer people (I haven't been in a dorm in 3 years I can't remember wtf they're called) told us in my freshman year. Between our dorm and the dorm next to us, women have the men out numbered 3-to-2. So that means there has to be at least one girl who fits your fancy. ... and regarding the ear infection, this is the first time I've had one in like 8 years no joke. Though my younger years I got them a lot, I mean my medical charts pretty much were 90% ear infections, 9% the flu, and the one bone I broke when I wiped out racing with some friends on a bike. Supposedly, according to the other kids, I flipped forward over my handle bars and did three rolls head over heals before I came to a stop on my back. I just remember "OH ****!" and then sitting up in the street with a numb as a mother ****er body. |

nm, nm. Just downloading some classical chillout stuff. I think this is my new favourite piece of music ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfuTBFemn0Q Sup wit'choo? (god I hate it when people say it like that). |
Had to cancel band I booked...Seems other bar turned this one into ASCAP for non membership also this band plays there too. Wait till I tell them later who turned them in. They play at the other bar tomorrow night. No ASCAP mebership because they never have live music. They have ASCAP for the juke box but it different i guess. Now my new goal is to destroy the bar that turned me in. Shouldn't be hard the owner (leasee) loves his recreational drugs and underage women. I suppose I will have to have a party now at my house and book this band to make it up to em.

I wish I had enough money to randomly take a trip for like a week to some place where I really had nothing better to do than wonder around all day and look at things. Preferably some place I'd enjoy, like Japan or Italy... or maybe just like California.
I'm just so bored, fall semester starts Monday, and I did not get my summer fix for doing random stuff because I am bored. Edit: One day I'm going to learn Johnny Be Good, practice it enough so I can play it better than like B quality, and remember it... I always come to this song, learn it, play it for a few days, and then don't play it again for like a half a year. At which point, I have totally forgotten it pretty much. |

Sup lod. Moving back to school tomorrow, **** me I hate packing.
|
Semi-forcing myself to unpack... visited the parents for 2 1/2 weeks and now I'm back at my apartment awaiting the doom Monday brings. On the upside, this will my last semester of college if I make a 3.0+ average in my engineering classes this semester.
Got here two days ago, really lazy with the unpacking. Though I'm trying to get it done tonight so tomorrow I can clean the apartment, and finish it Sunday if need be. So Monday when I get back from my long, but not longest, day of the week I can just crash on my couch in my nice clean apartment and watch TV. Hell, Wednesdays are my longest though seeing I have the same schedule as Monday + a 3 hour night class. That's going to be fun, between 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. I will be in class for 8 1/2 hours. However past the night class I don't have two of those classes on Fridays, thankfully the early ones (just in class from 1:30-3:30). On the bright side, I have Thursdays completely off and Tuesdays I just have a 2 hour lab from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and then I'm done. |

So I just bought this "steal" of an Atomic clock, or so I thought. The damn thing isn't really atomic in the sense I know. You set it and it makes sure it doesn't fall behind by using the atomic clock. Which could be pure B.S. (probably) or not.
Though I figured out what the difference between the $15 Atomic clock that was a "steal" and the "rip off" of a $50 atomic clock is. Biggest downfall, it tells me the temp in my room. So now when I'm like, "it feels hot in here" I can literally say... it's like 90 degrees or something. I'm actually surprised, down stairs it's 76 in the living room according to the temp on the A/C controls and this clock (which has been in my room for about 20 minutes) says it's 84 in here. I mean it felt kind of warm, but I didn't think it was 84. It now makes me wonder what in the hell the temp was the nights I really felt hot.
LFD what kind of engineering are you doing? I'm working on my BS in Mechanical.
Dual Majoring with a BS in each Electrical and Computer Engineering. It was only a hand full of classes extra, as the EE and ECE (so it isn't confused with Chem Engineering -- CE) are pretty much the same major, and I got talked in to it. Hell, EE is like 128 hours anyways ain't no way I would be finishing that in 4 years. One of those, 4 years on paper majors (pushing 17-21 hours a semester excluding 2) that the engineering representatives that talked to us when I came to check out this college assured me would take me probably 5, unless I was a genius and found out a way to freeze time to study/do hw/projects. Plus I took the 1 extra class needed for a Math minor, and if I fail to make a 3.0 in my engineering classes this semester (A.K.A. my GPA is going to shaft me from graduation) I'll pick up a Communication Studies minor as well to fill in the gap, as the government wont pay 1/4 of my tuition unless I'm full time. |
Yeah I'm on my 3rd year and it will probably take me 5, mostly because I'm a lazy bastard and I haven't taken a huge amount of credits each semester like I could have. I'm technically a senior going by total credit count because I did a dual-enrollment thing in high school, started my freshman year with 18 "general purpose" credits but if we go by the actual classes I've completed that are necessary for graduation I'm a junior.
|
LFD your posts are always inexplicably long. I'm used to the Lod just being one liners, Al being drunk, mota having sex, then me n Zeke nattering.
|
For nattering is the British way!
Also, my laptop keyboard is falling apart. Bollocks. |
My wireless keyboard is running out of battery. It takes AAA's, and all I've got is 35 AA's. Also, it's a really nice keyboard to use, really light keys, lots of nice shortcuts, durable, comfortable.
Sup Zeke? You starting your second year at uni soon? |
Pretty soon, yeah. I really want to get back to uni, I'm so bored round here, there's absolutely nothing to do. Even recording stuff is starting to get grating. Hows shit with you?

which uni are you at? i'm on my BS in Computer Science (ewww) and El. Eng. (yay!) atm, starting my third year in 3 weeks, if I've not failed my exams, that is. |
