lul yeah
|
i love bone marrow...
just thought id put that out there |
Me too.
Rody seems like he's taking this acoustic thing a little further now. He should really put up an album, but not just Chris Wynne songs obviously. He should bring back his old gems; the ones about white kids saying the n-word especially.
I like the YouTube vid of Rody at Wakestock. |
Hah, the performance he wasn't even aware he had to do until like the week before. He actually remembers how to play the songs now.
|
so he performs solo as well from what i gather?
|
Yeah, usually drunk in between sets.
|
So...
I just realized that PTH are one of my favorite bands. They join the ranks with 5 others. |
\m/
I really hope they can weasel me onto the guest list on Friday. The live videos I've seen show them playing these songs really, really well. Even Rody's doing a decent job. |
Rody's usually off key in live performances isn't he?
Yeah, I added up my PTH plays in iTunes and they should actually be 4th on my last.fm... that doesn't have anything to do with why they're one of my favorite bands though. |
So...
I just realized that PTH are one of my favorite bands. They join the ranks with 5 others.
this album is owning most of my listening time, its been a while since ive listened to an album or band for that matter for this much at one time so they're quickly rising on my list |
Ha, I'm actually listening to Kezia right now... I love singing along to, well, every song.
|
Rody's usually off key in live performances isn't he?
He goes in and out. He sings on key...just not the right one! It's an immaturity thing, he has to learn to trust his voice. |
blindfolds aside is my jam
|
#1 in Canada!

What were the sales worldwide up until this point, anybody know?
|
blindfolds aside is my jam
I still think that's my favorite song. |
What were the sales worldwide up until this point, anybody know?
Worldwide won't be released until it comes out in Europe. It's only out in Japan and North America right now. |
How's it doing in North America?
|
New CD is amazing I can't get enough of Bloodmeat or the keyboard solo in number 6. Very talented band.
|
How's it doing in North America?
Not sure about the US but it's destroying in Canada. Especially in the Greater Toronto Area. |
I saw that with that link a few posts up.
|
6,000 in one week is incredible. Kezia sold about 15,000 in the first month so this is on pace to beat that.
|
For the US - 7,600 sold, good for #95 on the Billboard top 200 chart.

I wonder what their next single is going to be...I mean...i know the video is going to lack since the song is going to have a epicness to it, unless they go animation with it.
|
Awia what the ****ing hell are you talking about?
|
I like it, but it's still not as 'OMG AMAZING' as everyone says it is.
The intro (first 10-15 seconds) and the part at 3:15-ish really annoyed me for some reason the first time I listened to it, but they kinda grew on me now I think. I do love the "royalty must die" part(s) though, and the rest of the song is really good. Actually, I like the lyrics a lot in this song. Well, the melodies and whatever. I normally don't listen to lyrics much, but I found myself actually attempting to sing a lot to this song in the car. |
The lyrics are one of my favourite things about the album to be honest.
|
Hopefully I'll get my copy of the album on Monday.
|
my college sucks, nobody but my best friend knows who Protest the Hero are. well at least people i would expect to know them (UCR is full asian wannabe black rappers)

asian black rappers are my friends |
The lyrics are one of my favourite things about the album to be honest.
"And sixty feathers plucked from sparrow's wings." In my opinion, one of the most epic lines on the album. |
growing fat on the throne
he sat like a stone a man who had never known no hunger shown no mercy (epic status) |
I still like the other one better...
|
lol the other one is good, i jsut figured id put in the one i like
is that your favorite song on the album? |
Yah, either that or Bloodmeat.
|
is it just me or are the first three songs like a triple threat? they're like the perfect three to start the cd out with
|
Actually I'm not to high on The Dissentience, but 1-5 without The Dissentience are amazing songs.
|
really? damn i really like it
|
I mean it's good, but I like the other songs more. I also really like the Goddess songs.
