lul yeah

beans 02-06-2008 06:44 PM

i love bone marrow...
just thought id put that out there

Josh D. 02-06-2008 07:19 PM

Me too.
Rody seems like he's taking this acoustic thing a little further now. He should really put up an album, but not just Chris Wynne songs obviously. He should bring back his old gems; the ones about white kids saying the n-word especially.
I like the YouTube vid of Rody at Wakestock.

Tyler 02-06-2008 07:31 PM

Hah, the performance he wasn't even aware he had to do until like the week before. He actually remembers how to play the songs now.

beans 02-06-2008 08:15 PM

so he performs solo as well from what i gather?

Tyler 02-06-2008 08:17 PM

Yeah, usually drunk in between sets.

NemesisDivina 02-06-2008 08:19 PM

So...

I just realized that PTH are one of my favorite bands. They join the ranks with 5 others.

Tyler 02-06-2008 08:20 PM

\m/

I really hope they can weasel me onto the guest list on Friday. The live videos I've seen show them playing these songs really, really well. Even Rody's doing a decent job.

NemesisDivina 02-06-2008 08:26 PM

Rody's usually off key in live performances isn't he?

Yeah, I added up my PTH plays in iTunes and they should actually be 4th on my last.fm... that doesn't have anything to do with why they're one of my favorite bands though.

beans 02-06-2008 08:27 PM

this album is owning most of my listening time, its been a while since ive listened to an album or band for that matter for this much at one time so they're quickly rising on my list

NemesisDivina 02-06-2008 08:32 PM

Ha, I'm actually listening to Kezia right now... I love singing along to, well, every song.

Tyler 02-06-2008 08:33 PM
Rody's usually off key in live performances isn't he?
He goes in and out. He sings on key...just not the right one! It's an immaturity thing, he has to learn to trust his voice.

beans 02-06-2008 08:33 PM

blindfolds aside is my jam

James46n2 02-06-2008 09:57 PM

Josh D. 02-06-2008 10:08 PM

What were the sales worldwide up until this point, anybody know?

illpressureurhinges1 02-06-2008 11:04 PM
blindfolds aside is my jam
I still think that's my favorite song.

Tyler 02-06-2008 11:05 PM
What were the sales worldwide up until this point, anybody know?
Worldwide won't be released until it comes out in Europe. It's only out in Japan and North America right now.

illpressureurhinges1 02-06-2008 11:08 PM

How's it doing in North America?

Wodk08 02-06-2008 11:08 PM

New CD is amazing I can't get enough of Bloodmeat or the keyboard solo in number 6. Very talented band.

Tyler 02-06-2008 11:09 PM
How's it doing in North America?
Not sure about the US but it's destroying in Canada. Especially in the Greater Toronto Area.

illpressureurhinges1 02-06-2008 11:10 PM

I saw that with that link a few posts up.

Tyler 02-06-2008 11:11 PM

6,000 in one week is incredible. Kezia sold about 15,000 in the first month so this is on pace to beat that.

James46n2 02-06-2008 11:17 PM

For the US - 7,600 sold, good for #95 on the Billboard top 200 chart.

awia 02-06-2008 11:25 PM

I wonder what their next single is going to be...I mean...i know the video is going to lack since the song is going to have a epicness to it, unless they go animation with it.

Tyler 02-06-2008 11:26 PM

Awia what the ****ing hell are you talking about?

Sponer 02-07-2008 01:14 AM
I like it, but it's still not as 'OMG AMAZING' as everyone says it is.
The intro (first 10-15 seconds) and the part at 3:15-ish really annoyed me for some reason the first time I listened to it, but they kinda grew on me now I think. I do love the "royalty must die" part(s) though, and the rest of the song is really good. Actually, I like the lyrics a lot in this song. Well, the melodies and whatever. I normally don't listen to lyrics much, but I found myself actually attempting to sing a lot to this song in the car.

Tyler 02-07-2008 01:36 AM

The lyrics are one of my favourite things about the album to be honest.

Tyr 02-07-2008 07:25 AM

Hopefully I'll get my copy of the album on Monday.

jrowa001 02-07-2008 08:26 AM

asian black rappers are my friends

illpressureurhinges1 02-07-2008 12:04 PM
The lyrics are one of my favourite things about the album to be honest.
"And sixty feathers plucked from sparrow's wings."
In my opinion, one of the most epic lines on the album.

beans 02-07-2008 12:10 PM

growing fat on the throne
he sat like a stone
a man who had never
known no hunger
shown no mercy

(epic status)

illpressureurhinges1 02-07-2008 12:11 PM

I still like the other one better...

beans 02-07-2008 12:20 PM

lol the other one is good, i jsut figured id put in the one i like

is that your favorite song on the album?

illpressureurhinges1 02-07-2008 12:24 PM

Yah, either that or Bloodmeat.

beans 02-07-2008 12:30 PM

is it just me or are the first three songs like a triple threat? they're like the perfect three to start the cd out with

illpressureurhinges1 02-07-2008 12:33 PM

Actually I'm not to high on The Dissentience, but 1-5 without The Dissentience are amazing songs.

beans 02-07-2008 12:41 PM

really? damn i really like it

illpressureurhinges1 02-07-2008 12:42 PM

I mean it's good, but I like the other songs more. I also really like the Goddess songs.
