Wow, I just downloaded a really great Sabbath song. It doesn't list a title for it, it just says "Black Sabbath - Ultra Rare". It's so good.
I have downloaded some cool Sabbath MP3's over the years.. I once found one which was Metallicas - Unforgiven with ozzy singing it (I think it was accually Metallica playing the song though) I guess Jaymez was ill or something... One of the Gem songs of mine is Motorhead covering Enter Sandman, and Whiplash! Also Dream Theaters Master of puppets covers were awesome! |
I've got one of Ozzy singing a disco song

Eh...and again my roommate proves to be a cunt, where my friends who are in town come by, so I kill my music, show them my room, talk a few minutes, then they go on...then as soon as they leave my roommate turns his music on really loudly. So I turn mine on louder...and he turned his down...but argh...what a cunt.

What does he listen too?
|
What does he listen too?
I don't know...unappealing music. Thing is, he rarely puts on headphones to my music...but I always do when he's playing his...you'd think if he likes mine well enough and it's clear I don't like his... |
what the?!?
I know it is pretty insane lol I think the next one was: Yogi has a girlfriend bear.. Suzi, Suzi Yogi has a girlfriend bear..Suzi Suzi bear.. Suzi placed it in her..... Goblin, Goblin...! I will stop now, its obscene  (But funny) it may be on a P2P file sharing program, i guess its called Yogi bear (uncut!) or something. |

What about n00bs making offical GC threads?
|
Has anybody in here heard any stuff by Bill Hicks? For those who haven't he is a comedian who REALLY pushes the censorship lines, and is credited to by many rock bands (such as Tool). I can't find a single person in my school who listens to him.
Yep, I've been a big fan of his for about five years now. My first post on MX included something about him, actually (and it got a response from Bucho ). He's brilliant. The rhyming gets really awkward later on ("he's a cucum-bear" is just pathetically funny), but it's great.
I've got one of Ozzy singing a disco song
Is that his cover of Stayin' Alive, with Dweezil Zappa? If so, it's awesome. The opening - "All aboard the disco train!" On the subject of funny songs, has anyone heard Billy Connolly's D.I.V.O.R.C.E. ? |
What about n00bs making offical GC threads?
*gimmicks He needs a ban, but people are too uptight about it, I told everyone it's a gimmick and they're still responding. No one's stupid enough to make threads about GC and SP within 10 mins of each other :) |

There are a couple of DVDs available, but they overlap each other. Totally Bill Hicks has his last live performance, in London, and the Just a Ride documentary, which is interesting; talks to his relatives, friends, people he met and worked with (Letterman, Leno, etc), and just various comedians.
There's another called something like Bill Hicks: Satirist, Social Critic, Stand-Up Comedian, which has One Night Stand, Relentless, Revelations and Just A Ride. And I've seen another around, but I forget the name and what's on it. |

Hey guys? I was just watching some TV with my mom, and I saw a guy sing Freebird on American Idol. That caught me off gaurd.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......Sweden. |
pigonthewing82: IF you like Hicks that much, you have to check out Lenny Bruce (similar to Hicks in terms of dark style, and in terms of overall impact on culture; probably the most culturally important comic in American history, if not world history), George Carlin (could have been more than "just a comic" a la Hicks and Bruce, but got "angry" and turned into a poor man's Sam Kinison), and David Cross (also similar to Hicks in some ways)

Haha. One white trash cultural icon clashes with another! Anyone who is a semi-regular ammong the community thread knows that I often parlay watching the TV show Scubs with my girlfriend into sex afterwards, but she's sleeping now, so that's a no go. Plus I spent most of my afternoon and evening with her, so eh. |
No sex, eh? That sucks. Then again, that is what the internet is for.

Yeah I have two of David Cross's cds. I have been meaning to get into Carlin and Bruce. I started looking into them a couple months ago, but then get heavliy into Pink Floyd and so thats where all my cd spending money went. But now that I own all of Floyds stuff (and a good number of bootlegs) I think I'll start looking into them again. |

I did have sex with her this afternoon, but these days I'm not really bummed either way if I get some tail or not, surprisingly enough. |
Same here. It's just because it is only a really big deal when you aren't getting any at all, and you begin to get stressed.

If I recall correctly, there was a huge Bruce CD boxset released just recently. It probably costs a fortune, though. |
My parents are so fuckin annoying sometimes. Its been 1 week into the 4th grading period, and i have like 15/20 and like 5/10 like in two classes so far so they come out to be f's but it really doesnt matter. That's not an issue for me at the moment, but I hear that can be a problem. |
