RATM were so amazing. One of the first albums I ever got was the Battle of Los Angeles. Then I got their self titled.. and Renegades. All the covers they do rock. Especially "Kick Out the Jams". Too bad they broke up, they were great.

Evil Empire is anything but boring IMO, but I can see why people think the others are boring.

I love all the albums, i have periods where i like one more than another, but im sure thats the same for all ratm fans.

Rage are the best band we have been blessed with since ages. It was them that got me to pick up a bassist. Timmy C. reamains my favourite bassist and one of my favourite bands. They kick so much *** its unbelieveable. Self titled for sure, especially know your enemy

So I'm listening to Evil Empire right now. I had forgotten how the rawness just seeps from each song. Just the combination of wierd filter effects on Zack's voice, Tom's tone, and the seemingly intentional bad mixing make for a brilliant combination.

Me and some guys I go to college with are doing a Rage Against The Machine covers band. As this seems to be the place for Rage fans, would any of you go and see a Rage covers band?Bearing in mind that we dont suck.

It does. I'm quite convinced that Evil Empire is their best album. It's not their most technical album or anything, but it's just full of this atmospheric vibe that none of the others can duplicate.

I would. As long as the guitarist can play Tom's solo's and such right, I think it'd be pretty cool to see a RATM cover band. I've been trying to learn some myself. Pretty much so far though, the only one I can play right is "No Shelter".

My brothers doin the guitars. He does most of the solos pretty **** well.I mean really **** well. Even the one from know your enemy which looks solid. He's got the selector switches, most of the fx,the whammy pedal...
