i didnt get a memo saying otherwise...
I just recall seeing something saying they weren't classifying themselves specifically as a christian band. |
Anyways when it comes to christian metal I mainly listen to stuff like Underoath and Oh, Sleeper.
|
you need some eso charis nigga
|
so i guess aletheian released their "new" cd now. it's dying vine re-mixed/re-mastered/re-released (different label) with some extra crap I guess. not sure if I really want to buy it... I haven't been listening to aletheian much lately, and I liked how the original cd sounded already so it kinda seems pointless.
|
I keep listening to Aletheian cause people say they are good, but I just can't seem to get into them.

Lol Stryper.
I'm not sure if my dad or somebody my dad knows knew someone in Stryper, but either way I didn't really care too much. |
The important question is Kevin Bacon's involvement
|
I was in Stryper

So was I.
lol fail. i'm a practicing christian and i listen to death metal...
listen to living sacrifice and becoming the archetype. with blood comes cleansing. all of those are technically death metal and they're all christian bands.
I think i mistyped what I wrote. I was just aggravated with half the people on these forums because they dis christian music just because it has the word "christian" in it and what it stands for. I also am a practicing christian myself and I listen to both secular and christian music. My point is, music is music it doesn;t matter what your beliefs are or not. |
i like how the mods delete entire pages, regardless of posts trying to shy away from the joke bullshit
LISTEN TO THE NEW MEANS FAGS |
chuck shculdiner is a homosexual and christian. i dont listen to death anymore.
a homosexual and christian.
new War of Ages is good
|
Meh, I can't get into the new War Of Ages. They're just too generic and boring.
|
i think theyre good enough to be a good generic band if you get what im saying. they really should try and progress a bit though since this is the 3rd straight album that sounds exactly like all their other ones
|

I know what you mean, I have a few of those bands that I listen to like August Burns Red etc. Yes they need to step it up cause 3 identical albums are gonna go yo @$$ dropped from the record label. |
yeah thats true. theyre pretty big in the christian metal community where i live. i dont know how long it will take for them to be dropped if they continue their success. i think they can make a really good progressive hardcore album, but i doubt they will ever change
|
They do well here too. This guy that puts on shows around here has them play here like every time they tour.

music has meaning and i do not tolerate christian preaching in music. if christian metal did not preach christianity it wouldn't be called christian metal death to christain meatl must the trolling start again? |
so yeah, basically, kids think it's cool to say they can't tolerate messages of well being, brotherhood, and grace.
**** that ****, corrupting our world. |
God forbid anything positive come out of metal.
