so i guess aletheian released their "new" cd now. it's dying vine re-mixed/re-mastered/re-released (different label) with some extra crap I guess. not sure if I really want to buy it... I haven't been listening to aletheian much lately, and I liked how the original cd sounded already so it kinda seems pointless.

I keep listening to Aletheian cause people say they are good, but I just can't seem to get into them.

I think i mistyped what I wrote. I was just aggravated with half the people on these forums because they dis christian music just because it has the word "christian" in it and what it stands for. I also am a practicing christian myself and I listen to both secular and christian music. My point is, music is music it doesn;t matter what your beliefs are or not.

Meh, I can't get into the new War Of Ages. They're just too generic and boring.

i think theyre good enough to be a good generic band if you get what im saying. they really should try and progress a bit though since this is the 3rd straight album that sounds exactly like all their other ones

I know what you mean, I have a few of those bands that I listen to like August Burns Red etc. Yes they need to step it up cause 3 identical albums are gonna go yo @$$ dropped from the record label.

yeah thats true. theyre pretty big in the christian metal community where i live. i dont know how long it will take for them to be dropped if they continue their success. i think they can make a really good progressive hardcore album, but i doubt they will ever change

They do well here too. This guy that puts on shows around here has them play here like every time they tour.

and i do not tolerate christian preaching in music. if christian metal did not preach christianity it wouldn't be called christian metal
