GongTaxi 11-02-2004 09:52 PM

Wow, I thought we would be talking about the election but no, we have to give it each other rep points, WTF?

Tangy zizzle 11-02-2004 10:10 PM

Has there been a winner yet?

Tapeworm 11-02-2004 10:17 PM

My tv tells me it is Bush - 197, Kerry - 188.

Wanker 11-02-2004 10:39 PM

it looks grim :(

GongTaxi 11-02-2004 10:39 PM

I think it won't be decided until late Thursday because of the million absentee ballots in florida and various lawsuits that are bound to arise, but so far everthing is exactly how it was thougth to be and it will come down to Ohio and Florida.

Tapeworm 11-02-2004 10:46 PM

Yeah, it's gunna be a tight one. They said on CNN that no states have changed preference from last election...

Wanker 11-02-2004 11:17 PM

It looks like Kerry might have a chance. The news said that Ohio is really improtant to both candidates and the prescincts (sp) in the Metropolitan areas haven't turned in their numbers yet. And Kerry's already slightly ahead. I think.

Iai 11-03-2004 04:13 AM

Bush is ahead, yet nothing is clear cut yet. Bush still needs 16, Kerry needs 18.

New Mexico, Iowa, and Ohio remain undecided, which amounts to 32 votes, though Bush leads so far in all these states.

This is what I've gathered from BBC World News.

Tangy zizzle 11-03-2004 04:27 AM

Bush has won, Kerry has lost.

Iai 11-03-2004 06:31 AM

BBC just updated. It ain't official, despite a fair few American news broadcasters claiming otherwise, but it looks like it's all over. Statistically though, Kerry might still win.

Wanker 11-03-2004 07:56 AM

Nah. All thats left is Ohio and there's a very very slim chance that he could pull a win out of his you-know-what.

:upset:

The Ashtray Girl 11-03-2004 11:28 AM

And now it really is all over.

I feel so dejected.

Wanker 11-03-2004 11:37 AM

I give up on caring.

Master Arkam Kannon 11-03-2004 11:37 AM

i reject my country and half of its people. terrorists, its yours.

Wanker 11-03-2004 11:39 AM

I mean, if we're being led (again) by a guy who said that he doesn't really care about where the number 1 terrorist in the world is, we're pretty screwed.

Master Arkam Kannon 11-03-2004 11:42 AM

bush is the number 1 terrorist in the world.

Wanker 11-03-2004 11:44 AM

/sigh

I never used to believe that. But I'm beginning to...

Iai 11-03-2004 11:56 AM

Don't worry, guys. There'll be suspicious legals battles, a new Michael Moore film, and all the punx0r kids will spend four years complaining that Bush stole the election.

Wanker 11-03-2004 01:09 PM

Yep and at least we can rest assured that he won't be president ever again after this.

Iai 11-03-2004 02:02 PM

You say that. I'm not so sure.

Or is there some sort of limit on how long you can be President?

Iris 11-03-2004 02:16 PM

Move to Canada :thumb: We've got lots of room, and good pancakes.

sweboy 11-03-2004 02:43 PM

So Bush's victory is official now right?

GongTaxi 11-03-2004 03:05 PM
Yep and at least we can rest assured that he won't be president ever again after this.
Yep and then we'll get Jeb as president.

Iai 11-03-2004 03:18 PM
