Yeah i play just to write stuff. I haven't had much time either. I do play bass with my band though. We have my first show with them coming up.
thats cool!
Its a dream of myself to play a concert - let's see if it becomes reality.
yes, i know.
She is the opposite of me, I think.
I fight with me - I try to be "open minded" but i am not (really); I try to do things and plan things, but in the end i don't do it.
She does; she travels a lot, I think she has much more life-experience than i have.

I for example haven't travelled alone. there was always a person, whom i travelled to or something like that. I was never just at my own. Thats why i am doing this belgium/netherlands trip this summer - it will be the first time, that i am at my own - just me and i have to manage everything.

Whatever, there are just two girls who changed my life; five years ago i started playing guitar cause of a girl and now i try to change my life... weird, isn't it?!
I think it's really brave for you to confess/realize this. :)

I sort of recognize myself in some of your personality characters.
I plan a lot, but usually don't do that much, I need some persuasion on things I'm not really motivated about.
And I'm a huge procrastinator.

I don't exactly know what you mena by being more open minded, cause I don't think you have any problems with that. :-p

On doing things on your own:
It's cool that you plan this trip to experience stuff like that, it's all part of becoming an adult and being independent yourself.
I'm kind of introverted myself, so I like being on my own.
I go to festivals/gigs alone, I don't care.
I enjoy being alone in general, at home, or take a long walk in the woods, just by myself.

repcak 05-13-2008 10:43 AM

We aren't that different peter :)

"procrastinator" is really that word i was searching for - I really need a kick into my a$$ to do anything. I hate it to travel alone; I don't like to go out alone... i always need some persons around me - not always, but I feel much more comfortable if i am not alone, if i am doing something (concerts, pubs, etc.)

I wasn't even sure about my trip, until i bought my tickets - now its too late... and whole two weeks! damn

Well with being "open minded" i meant something different - its very difficult to explain, cause i don't think that i think narrow, but its something that i experience while being together with other ppl.
Its a difference if you say i am tolerant, but you haven never been in a foreign country.
Its a difference if you say i am tolerant and you have been on all continents.

Thats what i meant with "open minded" - i am, but i have no experience with it. I am just that procrastinator who is sitting around in vienna, studies, goes out, smokes, have some fun, dreams of being independent, but i am not.

tbh. i still try to quit smoking, cause of that girl and i started (or rather stopped) making sport again... It was her, who gave me (indirectly!!) that kick into my a$$ to buy those flight tickets; luxemburg is near brussel, if you know what i mean ;) (if i haven't told you, she is from luxemburg) - on the other side she has that many exams and i don't know when i will be able to see her again... i already haven't seen her in a month and chances are low that i will see her soon.

I just hope she will stay in vienna during the summer - this would be perfect :)

If you want to do it, you can make it happen. I did.

Ventriloquist 05-13-2008 11:12 AM

Dimmu Burger 05-13-2008 12:03 PM

The funniest thing just happend!

An inmate (I work in a jail) just came up to me and asked me to look at the Dr. Phil website cause he is gonna be on the show today. I looked it up and sure enough, there he was. His girlfriend will physically be there on the show and he called in from the jail I work at to be on the show. It comes on in an hour, lol.

illpressureurhinges1 05-13-2008 12:17 PM

That's intriguing.

Dimmu Burger 05-13-2008 12:18 PM

I think its about his girlfriend's drug problem.

illpressureurhinges1 05-13-2008 12:22 PM

So the girlfriend has drug problems, the boyfriend's in jail. That is one fucked up couple.

Dimmu Burger 05-13-2008 12:26 PM

He actually got her into harder drugs.

illpressureurhinges1 05-13-2008 12:27 PM

Obviously... Sometimes that's not always the best thing though.

EDIT: Exactly my point.

gmoneyguy 05-13-2008 12:30 PM

Yes. :smoke:

I learned to moderate my helpings though.

That's good. At least you have control over your cravings. That's an admirable trait.

Sorry I was gone and didn't answer this post.

But it's good to have people in your area who help you out and give you that little push.
But the coolest part out of all of this is: that you're visiting me. :-D
