I have kind of a stupid question: Who plays the slowest funeral doom metal that still has some kind of rhythm/drums aka not drone?

I listen to Mournful Congregation and want more like that as long as its slow like that.

anybody heard of Universe 217? im really digging their s/t album. musically it can fall under doom with some progressive elements and some sludge thrown in. they have clean female vocals but not in a gothic way. theyre very haunting, and she does do some very spine tingling screams every once in a while.

never heard of, but check out thorr's hammer for female growls lol
sounds interesting but i don't have much faith in prog and sludge work in doom. i might have to see if they're pulling it off.

I thought the vocals were the best part of it. I just don't like some of the musical choices they've made...
