Unless you're trying some joke (which I don't get), then no, I mean the COUNT five.
The Click Five is a pretty terrible pop group here in America. I doubt they've infiltrated NZ.

Little Man being Erased 11-13-2005 11:47 PM

Woah. And I thought I listened to the Beatles a lot last week.

Seriously, I just listened to the first two last night, and my mind was blown. I was unaware that a band of that nature could create something so simply beautiful. I'm listening to the GY!BE album right now, and it's phenomenal. This is actually my first time through, but I figured that my initial reaction to it so far counted.

Are you listening to it through headphones? I did that the first time for all the post rock records you mentioned and I got shivers down my spine for ages. Mind blowingly good stuff.

liveevil 11-14-2005 04:31 PM

well i was pumped up for make believe this past week... so i was rockin out the shock of being. tim went overboard with his ranting at the show and i was kinda dissapointed. sam zurich was a total badass though so i've decided on listening to nothing but ghosts and vodka the rest of my life.

When my RM was in and was doing his homework, I was listening through headphones. Otherwise, I haven't, though I probably ought to (there's a lot of stuff that's easy to miss). Absolutely fantastic stuff. The GY!BE is quite frightening at points, but not the kind of frightening like a horror film, just kind of a sustained, underlying disturbing atmosphere. Incredible music.

robingram02 11-14-2005 04:46 PM

I hate the fu*%ing kaiser chiefs. New good bands erm dungen, sufjan stevens, the subways, willy mason.

Post-rock does that to you. I get shivers everytime I listen to EitS or GY!BE. amazingamazingamazing.

Right now I am listening to Snow Bird by Piana. It sounds alot like Efterklang or Mum with the vocals being a cross between the lady from Deerhoof and Jonsi from Sigur Ros. Very nice music for fans of the aforementioned bands.

Ah, that looks good but I've already got all the albums that are included in it. I do really want those rare/unreleased tracks, though. I wish they'd release them on an individual disc.:(
