Got up at 6:30 today, but I didn't get any sleep anyway.
I should probably try some sleeping pills sometime or something. It sucks to always be tired. |

Yeah, I usually sleep pretty good in the weekends, because I can get drunk at night, but during the week I'll lie awake all night or maybe get like 1 or 2 hours of sleep for a couple of days and then the next day I'll fall asleep, but then I'll oversleep and miss class or something. Been like that for a few months now.

Pulling an all-nighter to fix my sleep schedule doesn't work either (since involuntary all-nighters are exactly the problem), and drinking kind of works, but doing that every day is actually what I'd like to stop doing.

I often need several hours to get to sleep. I'm usually to tired to e.g. read or whatever too, so I'm just laying there. that rules...

what I do is load up on caffeine and distractions, force yourself through one painful all-nighter until mid-afternoon so you wake up about 2 am. then pull another and fall asleep about 5-6 pm in the evening, aiming to wake up a little later. just keep stretching it little by little, burning the candle at both ends. gotta hold it for like a week straight before it becomes habit

can do it working the clock back on the hours you sleep which is less painful, but has a much higher chance of failure

I don't have trouble due too a bad rhythm. I just have a hard time falling asleep every night. been this way since I was a wee boy.

It used to take me forever to fall asleep, but idk what happened to me, I think that with getting up around dawn, I'm just so tired by the time I want to go to bed that I just pass out.

I've usually been up at least 18h, working several of those, before going to sleep so I'm dead tired.
