hah yeah. My post was actually something this idiot on the review site wrote.

Mayer's music is great actually. Try! is a great live blues album and Continuum is solid guitar pop. He's a funny dude though, he posts some hilarious blogs and videos online.

Continuum and Try! grew off of me a bit but they are still great albums/up your points with chix pretty well.

So I was listening to this Dillinger Escape Plan interview and they made a few off the cuff jokes about this Zakk Wylde video, so obviously I checked it out.

His hilarious vocals aside, what the hell is going on in this? He's supposed to be paying tribute to Dimebag Darrel, whatever I guess.

What I don't get is all the imagery.

There's the random flash of an old woman's face for some reason. Then Zakk starts trashing his piano, taking it apart with an axe...errr, okay then.

Then there's a slow-motion cut of Zakk walking out of the river. Right.

Then there's the really ugly double neck guitar and Zakk's penchant for pointing up to the sky.

There's a viking funeral, and then the kicker...Zakk throws a torch onto his piano for some reason and plays a really hilariously terrible solo. Oh wait he's playing the piano again, cool.
