Anyways I was watching VH1 top 100 shocking moments in Rock and Roll and one of them was that thing between Neil Young and Lynyrd Skynyrd(sp?) anyways if you have heard of it please discuss and if you havent simply state who you like more.

How many times have i heard a kid at school play the intro to sweet home alabama. I then try and proceed by playing the intro to sweet home chicago by Robert Johnson, I am not good enough though.

Skynard get's pissed because of course that's where they're from, and it's sort of like a little war between them. This is show in the lyrics to "sweet home alabama".

I think Neil has more wordpower than skynard :p. Also I think his music's better but i'm not one to pick sides.

And Neil Young's song "Southern Man" made things worse.

Aslo Van Zandt kept on wearing a Neil Young shirt to spite him or something.

Can someone tell me who Andy Warhol is because i was watching the movie The Doors and at the bit where Jim Morrison is meeting Andy that little weird looking man says something about Velvet Undergroung being Andy's band. I dont know much about Velvet Underground but i didn't think Andy Warhol was even a musician :confused:.

^^ Andy Warhol produced the VU's first album The Velvet Underground & Nico, but besides that and adding Nico he did nothing but tack his name on to their album and shows for a while to help them gain fame. He was a modern artist and filmmaker. He actually drew the lips logo for the rolling stones as well as the banana cover for The VU.
