Yeah, well if it were just a performance, maybe. But this is an assessed performance - my music teacher will be reading the music, knowing exactly what I've done wrong :) Normally I can just a fake a few notes here and there, and get away with it. Also, the assessment includes sight-reading, walking basslines, scales, arpeggios, the whole lot. I should be ok, but I want to do really well - me and the top trumpeter have a sort of competition going on, and he's winning right now :)

as long as you know the rules and are sitting in a pub garden with a pint of ice cold lager watching it on a big screen with a group of friends, cricket is the best sport to watch on TV. It lasts for days (i'm talking about 3 Day Tests etc) and u can slowly get drunk and enjoy the few minutes of the British summer

cricket is actually quite a dangerous sport! someone at school had his nose broken, one bruised his chest and had a suspected broken rib (tho it wasn't) and another person very badly bruised three fingers on his right hand (they swole up pretty badly and his hand looked like a bunch of rotting bannanas!)

i was tasked to go fetch him a box from the edge of the pitch - so i did and returned saying;

Eddie: unfortunately I have no idea about amps so i'm no use what so ever! also, the Aussies, Kiwis, South Africans, W Indians, Indians, Pakistanis all play cricket ratehr well (some would say better than us English!) so it is quite a big sport with a very rich history
