Yes, that's a Mexican Jazz Bass. Americans have optional colors, different woods for necks, choice of active or passive pickups, etc. Basically, if you just want a Fender Jazz, straight up Jazz Bass for a good price, go Mexican. You get all you need, nothing more, nothing less, and a good instrument for a lot cheaper than an American. I hope this helps.

The S-1 switch; changes the pickups from series to parallel.

...to see that a great drummer go wasting his talent at Pop punk..:upset: and hes getting worse becouse of it.. he was so great, i loved to jam with him....

i woudlnt say hes wasting it, blink 182 was a decent drummer that made it pretty big, i know people who have said that he was the best drummer in the world.....HAHA

thats wrong... anyway.. this guy atleast are loosing his abilitys at some places...(like double bass drum, NO CHANCE anymore....)

yeah i hate to see a good double basser not use it, double bass pedalling is musical orgasm, emo music has plenty of room for it, so try turning his band emo so his double bassing will be preserved

^^ Maby that could save him, i dont like emo, but i realize it will do the drummer much better than Pop punk... if he only knowed how i feel about his playing..:(
