I mean this doesn't specifically have to be garage recorded death metal and black metal on a tape recorder in the middle of a forest, naked.

You could even make it where the members update, not just like one specific person. Not sure how you'd do this but ugh.

There is a special news section dedicated to just news for Metal ([url]http://www.sputnikmusic.com/musicnews.php?genreid=4)[/url], but if you're looking for just a band go to [url]www.sputnikmusic.com/band/Avenged+Sevenfold[/url] for them, or [url]www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Opeth[/url] and it should have the most recent news for them on that page. Sorry if I'm not much help.

Any user with an account here can submit news. A lack of underground Metal news is only due to the apathy of the users here in regards to submitting it.

It's also much harder to actually get news on underground metal bands than Avenged Sevenfold.

In which case I'd much rather have a new thread around on it to grab my attention, rather than having to catch up on stuff posted in one long-existing thread.

Yeah, you mostly have to scour their official sites, so it's usually by luck or chance you find something worth posting.

Can we please do something about these pun title threads? Most are overly long, and not even clever. Personally, I think it looks messy, and it would look better if it just had the band's name as the title.

I don't think there should be a rule against them or anything, but yeah, they really do suck.

No, for me they became overdone months and months ago. It was kinda funny at first, but now it's just annoying.
