I haven't listened to the Ataris in years. I saw them like 4 or 5 years ago though, and it was pretty good.

Its one of those bands that are cool and hip to like, like the White Stripes and stuff. At least that what the white kids with acoustic guitars all come off like when they try to name drop bands like that.

The White Stripes are actually pretty cool and have some awesome guitar riffs. But they are hip to like. Neutral Milk Hotel are pretty generic, I think.
