TimJim 04-05-2008 04:00 PM

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-05-2008 04:01 PM

REALLY?????????????/ Damn.:(:(

I might look into buy a 125 then upgrading but i dunno

TimJim 04-05-2008 04:02 PM

my friends all envy me cuz i had one :D

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-05-2008 04:06 PM

Dick.

Am gonna go ask around with riders n see what they think about what license to get

Seafroggys 04-05-2008 04:09 PM

Dilemma.

So I'm selling a bunch of stuff. My initial offers totals to about $620 but most likely I'll get about $500 for it.

Now for that $500 I can further invest in my studio. I'm thinking an SM7b microphone and a couple of heavy duty mic stands (my drum overhead stands are pretty damn flimsy), and maybe a PA speaker that we can use for rehearsals so we no longer have to use my bass amp.

Or I can add it to my $1000+ I have now and buy a car.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-05-2008 04:16 PM

Well what do you need more. I mean if you have no car now i'd say car

Why do you want a Donormobile? There's a reason you can't ride over a certain CC. Just like insurance costs more for a more powerful car. The chance of death is gonna be higher.

125 is a lot of power for something that small and light. Guaranteed you're gonna be no Casey stoner, but you'll get from A to B pretty fast.
Well what do you need more. I mean if you have no car now i'd say car
I drive my parents vehicles, but one of our cars broke and we're selling it, providing us with two vehicles. We make do with two vehicles (they carpool a lot) but there are times, such as over Spring Break when I made elongated trips to my girlfriend's house, that I had to get rides because my parents both needed their own cars at some point during my absence.

We've been doing this about 3-4 months now.

The next question is what type of vehicle I need? If we're keeping our van, or selling the van to buy a pickup, I'll just get a car, since I need a vehicle to haul gear and drums. If we're selling the van for a car, I'll need to buy a pickup or something.

Berk 04-05-2008 04:28 PM

sup guys, i just had a good sleep.

Then vehicle.

I'd say van. That way you always have a way to haul gear

Seafroggys 04-05-2008 04:35 PM

but you see, I'm an enviornmentally and economically charged individual. I don't want us to have two van/pickups/combination thereof. If I move out, I can always sell my car and get a van/truck if needbe.

I prefer pickup with canaopy because small pickups, depending on which model you get, get pretty good gas mileage.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-05-2008 04:37 PM

My van has excellent mileage. And is realativly clean enviroment wise. Your choice tho eh.

But defo buy transport of some sort cause its so much easier

Seafroggys 04-05-2008 04:39 PM

May I ask what van you drive, and would it be available on a $1500 USD budget?

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-05-2008 04:47 PM

Ford Escort Van the 55 version and i have no idea bout the prices over there

Janeway 04-05-2008 04:49 PM

I want bitter marmalade.

There's seriously an entire aisle at the supermarket dedicated solely to jelly, peanut butter, and honey, but the only friggen' marmalade they have is made with sweet oranges. I checked the import aisle, and they have grapefruit marmalade, but no orange marmalade.

It's like...wtf. Fuck you conformist ass marmalade commies.

Edit:

Ford Escort Van...

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-05-2008 04:55 PM

Janeway 04-05-2008 04:57 PM

Berk 04-05-2008 05:58 PM

are k's hand made?

fishbulb 04-05-2008 06:00 PM

I think they are half hand made and what i mean by that is that somebody uses their hands and hammers it on a machine.

100% hand hammered would be if you are striking the hammer against the metal yourself.

Win A Rabbit 04-05-2008 06:20 PM
