I'll let you know what's going on as we get closer, none of it is solid as of right now. Just don't expect me to be pulling off a lot of flashy/technical stuff. You might see some tapping, some slapping, but mostly low key grooves.

Ahh, I get to play Sir Duke this week with my band "Dr Headlock and the Cowpunchers". Im so stoked.

Heres my rendition with the original panned to the right, and me panned to the left, so the distinction between the "good" original and the "sloppy" cover can be recognised :D This is really a test to see how my new selection of strings sounded recorded, because they just sound so damn good on my bass live, there had to be a setback. So far, none. They are DR Lowriders, 40-100 gauge, and they are, so far, my favourite strings. Ever. Ive never heard this bass sound so good

Just long enough to say this - I LOVE DR LOWRIDERS. They growl perfectly for the Thumb, a problem I seemed to be having with almost all other strings, these capture it perfectly.

I have $40 saved up so far, and I found $20 of it on the ground a few days ago. So that was lucky. I'm considering just buying a gram off this guy I know. He's got good stuff.

But as I said, I don't want to spend any money. CRAP! What a dilemma.

Either:
a) I buy some pot and I'm out $10 and down to 30
b) I kill myself and how much money I have won't matter anyway
