I want that Ginger CD very much. Amazon really sucks sometimes.

Some nice choices there, too.
My girlfriend's brother is obsessed with Finding Nemo. He's, uhh, 22. Great movie though, up there with Shrek for me.

Anyway, I missed my bus after the longest, most boring lecture of my life and now I have 7 minutes to burn.

I bought some albums at lunchtime, because I can:

Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation Of Millions...
Therapy? - Troublegum
Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage
Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
John Legend - Get Lifted

I saved some for the Richard Ashcroft and Ginger CDs I'll be picking up in the next 2 weeks
Troublegum! Excellent.

Though Dragonforce and Kelly Clarkson are not so excellent, Troublegum forgives all.

kurrpt 01-18-2006 09:31 AM

kelly clarkson huh?

damn, didnt see that one coming. I think your public enemy and kelly CDs might start fighting. Better put em at the beginning and end of your collection, respectively, to keep everything "civil"

Bartender 01-18-2006 09:36 AM
When is it released in shops there? And when is the amazon order sent out? HMV says they'll have it on the 27th.
I'm still working on the idea of it being the 19th, though I actually haven't checked anywhere since the original announcement back in December or whenever it was.

Stormrider 01-18-2006 10:01 AM

So i have no school today because of the icy streets due to the frozen rain last night...So many days have been canceled this year so far.

Don't you ever find yourself buying stuff you don't like?

gillygan 01-18-2006 10:14 AM

I saw nemo around ten times so im kinda sick of it, but it was good.

Man its really hard for me not to buy a cd when i walk in a record store. 50% of my money is spent on cd's and burritos :(

Stormrider 01-18-2006 10:14 AM

Out of the 20 i have, i bought 7 in the span of 2 weeks about a week ago. And i got the whole Iced Earth discography in a few months. There wasnt much variety in my cd shopping before.

I used to buy a new cd every two weeks, now I haven't bought a cd for 2 months or so :(

I really should start buying again, but I don't have much money

I hope to get some income out of a new job soon, otherwise I won't be buying many new cds soon :(

but My wishlist is still growing

superpeer 01-18-2006 10:30 AM

I have like 200, there were times when I bought like 2 a week, but now I haven't bought any for a while. Mostly because I can't find what I need.

For me it's different. When I'm sitting here I think of the CDs I want. When I actually see them in stores I kinda think wether I want to buy it, or buy one I want more. (Cds I normally go for are priced at £20 at least).

kurrpt 01-18-2006 10:31 AM
I couldn't deal with that. I need my impeccable quality CDs.
IAJP 01-18-2006 10:37 AM

I have a terrible CD habbit.

I can't help buying them, although I'm hoping the last CD I'll buy for a while is the ones I've ordered off Ebay.

Cathedral - The VIIth Coming
and
Sunn O))) - Flight Of The Behemoth.

Doctor Night 01-18-2006 10:44 AM
Don't you ever find yourself buying stuff you don't like?
No.
There's the music shop I use, and the owner doesn't takwe very highly to mainstream 'shit'. He's also a huge 'Tallica fan, so those Cd's are half price, which is 4 quid.

Jom 01-18-2006 11:15 AM
Jom : you talking about the "why should i worry, why should i care?" song?
Yeah! That one! That song rules.
My girlfriend's brother is obsessed with Finding Nemo. He's, uhh, 22. Great movie though, up there with Shrek for me.
Haha, whoa.

And holy crap, how could I forget about Shrek! The first one owned so hard. The second one was kind of meh, but the first one was awesome.

When I went to Universal Studios with my family a couple summers ago, the 4-D movie/ride thing was pretty cool. In the opening, Shrek had a monologue, and when he sneezed, you got sprayed with mist, heh. Oh, and when you went through the woods, you supposedly felt spiders, and the jets underneath your seat or whatever they used made it seem really freakin' realistic, which was cool with me.

Nice :thumb:

I also approve of the DragonForce, even if Jelle doesn't.

the2stranger 01-18-2006 11:17 AM

I haven't yet heard the new Dargonforce, I'm very curious though :)
especially about this screamed/growled vocals.

I hope to catch them on a show again this year, awesome live-act

I remember that. It was cool.

Too bad they closed King Kong. Even though the Mummy is better...i liked the King Kong ride in the subway and all.
