EDIT: man, Skepticism truely is brilliant. I'm listening to the Ethere EP for the first time and this is amazing.

I listened to most Esoteric albums recently, Metamorphogenesis is my fav. so far. I'd recommend that.

But The Maniacal Vale is also very good.

i like esoteric a lot, but their albums are sort of interchangeable in a way. maybe i need to listen to them more

They bore me to tears. Seriously, their albums are wayyy too damn long, and they release the same stuff over and over again...that's how i feel :(

i agree to an extent--but when I'm in the right mood for them, I love them

i dont even worry about listening to a full album. i just put it on until ive had enough, usually about half or 3/4 of an album

You should start AND finish the The Maniacal Vale, that's the best. Some others like Subconscious Dissolution Into The Continuum, but I think it's only a little better than average. Just get The Maniacal Vale and that'll be more than enough Esoteric.
