I dont see the need to preoreder it. No one in my town listens to them really, so there will be a sh[I]i[/I]t load of the DVD's at Best Buy and FYE.

I like some of their songs, but most of their songs I think are just boring (Comfortably Numb being a great example). I just don't get a good feeling listening to it. It's not that they're pretentious, their music just doesn't excite me or make me "feel" it.

No I don't like them either.
They just bore me.

I think DT is one of the few bands who sound as good live as they do in studio. After a lot of let-downs with bands who are awesome in the studio but sound terrible live, this is an awesome find. They're pretty much all-in-all amazing in my opinion.

I would like to point you in the direction of Images and Words, because Metropolis part 1 is on it, and that, in my opinion, IS what Dream Theater is all about.

If not Images and Words, get Scenes From A Memory.:thumb:

For a starter album, I would recommend Train of Thought. It's enjoyable, and pretty easy to get into.

Yeah that really true, their performances are practicly flawless and the sound quality is always brilliant.
