I want to hear the era of Destruction when no one liked them... i'll have to track it down.
I've been looking for Neo-Destruction for the past few days, but I haven't come up with anything. If you find anything let me know.
Isn't it just a CD?
I thought it came with a bonus cd, I never heard of it coming with a DVD!

NP: Destruction - Tears of Blood

RCA 06-30-2005 11:29 PM

No, it's supposed to have a DVD with songs from that benefit show they did for Chuck Billy.

Just got an email from Bob Reid about Razor:
hey man, looks like we are going to be playing the gates of hell gig in september (17) i think in toronto ...perhaps at the reverb..
cheers
Bob
This is good news, even though they aren't playing anywhere near me. Show's you that they haven't split yet! :thumb:

Oh well, Corporal will have a good time.

metal-militia 07-01-2005 05:25 AM

At least they are still playin then.

didn't know the rerelease had a DVD...thought it was the album and then a live CD?

At the start it says the DVD will be separate, and the re-release comes with a live album of a show they played after the benefit show.

Second part of a very good interview by the way :)

RCA 07-01-2005 06:55 AM

Ah, poo. I thought it came with a DVD. :(

metal-militia 07-01-2005 06:58 AM

ah well, will just have to get the DVD seperate. I really wish i had more money so i could buy Eternall Nightmare, and about 100 other CD's i want...

RCA 07-01-2005 07:00 AM

Yeah, I still need to get a lot more CD's.

Terrorzone 07-01-2005 07:05 AM

I just got paid so I want to buy Eternal Nightmare and any other two thrash cds I haven't thought of.

If you haven't purchased them already, buy Above The Ashes by Ulysses Siren and Pandemonium by Torture Squad.

Terrorzone 07-01-2005 07:46 AM

I was thinking Torture Squad. I'll have to hold off on Ulysses Siren because I think I'm getting By Inheritance by Artilery.

RCA 07-01-2005 08:15 AM

Oh ok, but definitely order Above The Ashes when you have the chance.

Terrorzone 07-01-2005 08:18 AM

What are they like?

Apocalyptic Raids 07-01-2005 08:25 AM

Very, very good. They remind me of Bonded... era Exodus.

RCA 07-01-2005 10:20 AM
What are they like?
Like Vio said, they sound like Bonded... era Exodus. Add in some early Slayer-esque riffs, a technical edge, and some progressive elements as well, and you'll have a general idea of what US sounds like. They're one of my favorites. :thumb:

GraveRobbersINC 07-01-2005 04:11 PM

Picked up Anthrax's State of Euphoria and Persistence of Time used, and they also had Suicical Tendencies' Lights, Camera, Suicidal and Anthrax's P.O.V. videos for cheap, gonna pick them up.

It's worth the wait, their cover of My Sherona is awesome :thumb:

RCA 07-02-2005 12:12 AM

Anyone heard of Warning S.F.?

It's one of Jon Torres' other bands, and they're quite awesome. Their new album Aftermath is pretty solid; the song "The Noose" features riffs from Ulysses Siren's Above The Ashes!

Haven't got around to getting any songs yet.

Went to heathen and nuclear assault last tuesday and it was soo killer! Met Terry Lauderdale before the show he is a brillaint guy and down to earth. I was a the front [ i mean at the barrier!] the whole gig, i got the support band i think they were called annumition's pick sang [kinda] with heathen i sang/shouted DEATH in the song death by hanging they only had 30mins which was a bit disappointing though :( Nuclear Assault were insane i think john connoly must be about 5"4 or somthing and Dan Liker looks about 7foor lol he is ****ing tall they played a song off the new album sounds very good and thrashy along with all the classics. Got all of heathen to sign my poster which is now framed on my wall. And we met John Connolley after as well all brillaint and down to earth guys. Killer bands Killer gig!

Apocalyptic Raids 07-02-2005 06:01 AM

Lucky bastard. There doesn't seem to be many thrash bands coming my way anytime soon, although I have heard rumours of Kreator coming.

Stoic 07-02-2005 11:53 AM

I would like some info on Mekong Delta and a few uploads if possible.

metal-militia 07-02-2005 12:31 PM

hmmm Mekong Delta. Prog Thrash, and i'm not a big fan of them. Some stuff off the first 2 albums is good, but some of the stuff is a bit strange. I think RCA is a fan of them though, so he will tell you much more than i have.
