Jom: I'm the only person to vote under a 5 :-X I feel like a turd in the pool

Moses: I think you know how I feel about that, but I'll hold my tongue

np: Outkast - Ms. Jackson
since i'm the only colored person in this forum for miles besides you, is it ok if i make a joke about your comparison of yourself as a turd
I would advise against that

I have a strange emotional attatchment to When. I love going to sleep with it on

NP: Al Fish - Fearless (Pink Floyd cover)
Did you ever consider that you're probably getting crap from nearly everyone in the universe for maybe, just maybe, a very good reason?

Just wondering.
No. I'd like to be optimistic about this decision.

Jom 01-17-2006 10:42 PM

Hahaha, nah Ray, don't worry about it. I'm going to get at least one or two .5-1's from the resident Sputnikmusic assholes, but if anyone took the time to read all that, even if they don't visit the site often, it means a lot to me because it was a lot of work. I was really bummed about having to remove so much comedy, and it was tough picking out the best one-liners and things (although there were some really weak ones in there as well)...

... but nah man, I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of it

Moses: of course people are gonna give you shit, but I wish you the best of luck with it.

And besides, most of the people have been cool with it so far, it's just naturally weird, is all. But again, I hope everything works out for you.

Illmatic 01-17-2006 10:44 PM

Yeah, it was a solid read. Those musical guests sucked though :p

Your awards show is almost as good as your location is difficult to spell and pronounce :-*

Oh, I know, that's why we decided to keep it on the hush aside from a few close friends. The fact that you wish the best of luck really means alot.

Jom 01-17-2006 10:50 PM
Yeah, it was a solid read. Those musical guests sucked though :p
Hahahaha.

Yeah, I know. That was intentional on my part - I didn't want to go all out (BNL would have been there, for sure), but then again, hip-hop doesn't get a lot of reviews on the site.

Hahaha. I don't even know how to pronounce it, but that's where Moz is from. Extended joke++.

uh oh
I'm actually going to do something about that.
That would be terrific/great/insert Bill Lumbergh adjective here.

No, but seriously, that would be awesome if you could do that. That section is definitely one of the weaker ones, and it'd be cool to have it get more traffic with more reviews.
They could have used the work...

(oh no he di'int)
Hahahahha. Nah man, it's cool. I could tell you all about Steven Page's side project and how they just got done writing the musical scores for the Stratford Festival in Ontario this past year, but...

[Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........]

... yeah, point taken, haha.

That's um...interesting news to be had. :-\

Nostalgia 01-17-2006 11:51 PM

My sister had a baby and I guess when she had the baby it was stuck in the birth canal a while, so the head was sooo long, it look like she had to heads.

I don't know what to do, man. I'm not prepared for this...I mean, it's not like I don't WANT the baby. I just don't know what to do.

Yeh...I was going to try to be all optimistic about it, but when I thought of how I'd feel in his shoes...I couldn't.

I...can imagine.

Yeah...It's a big dilemma, I've actually been thinking a lot about that what if lately myself. I dont have an answer still though, except that I don't want to have to deal with it yet. Best of luck to you though. :-\

Shred Danson 01-18-2006 12:03 AM

Thanks, you and Jom...

There's still the possibillity she isn't though...

I'm going to bed. thinking about this is keepin me up too late...night all...I'll give y'all an update on the situation when it arises.

Nostalgia 01-18-2006 12:10 AM

The best thing that you can do is act like it is coming. I don't know you to well but I'm guessing that you will accept it. Though it is a huge responsibility it's the greatest gift ever. My sister had her baby and shes amazing, though I'm not like the dad I can feel how beautiful she is without her even being mine.

You sir, are a great brother. Is she an older or younger sister?

gmoneyguy 01-18-2006 12:14 AM

If you feel you cant raise a child right now you can always give up for adoption. And give it to a family that you know it will have a great life with.

Nostalgia 01-18-2006 12:16 AM

Thank you, shes older she got pregnant at 17 sadly, but I got over the whole anger issue and supported her. She actually have the baby on her 18th birthday.

This is true. Though something like that is a hard decision to make, so luckily there is a lot of time to think about it.
Thank you, shes older she got pregnant at 17 sadly, but I got over the whole anger issue and supported her. Well good for you man. That makes things easy to remember eh? You seem real supportive though, that's great. Lots of families disown kids if they have children at a young age.

Steerpike 01-18-2006 12:33 AM

Just finished watching The Untouchables. Great movie.

"Did it sound something like that?!"

That ranks among my Top 10 Kill Lines.

Kurtz 01-18-2006 12:43 AM

How can a movie with De Niro and Connery not be good?

Nostalgia 01-18-2006 12:45 AM

I just finished the lion king, that's a tear jearker.
