I saw Pedro open for Death Cab. I liked them. I liked them both, actually, but this was back before Plans came out.
That would be a really good show. Nice and mellow. I just saw DC a couple weeks ago, but this band Youthgroup opened for them. They weren't bad, but Pedro would have been muuuch better. |
My English teacher was playing Plans in class today. It didn't do anything for me.
I've been diggin: Explosions in the Sky Weezer |

I've been looking for that album for a long while. Dig: Pixies - Doolittle At the moment I don't really see this as being much more than a 4/5 album. It's good and I enjoy it, but it's not perfect. Talking Heads - More Songs About Buildings and Food After a few more listens, the first and last tracks are awesome and definite standouts, but the rest of the album is pretty great as well. 4/5. |
The Who and Robert Wyatt. I've only got a little Soft Machine and I kinda figured what to expect with Robert Wyatt but Rock Bottom is very interesting. "Alifieb" and "Alife" are overwhemingly beautiful songs.
What would be a good Eels album to start with?
I've only ever heard Beautiful Freak, and I'm finishing my first listen now. It's not great, but it is charming and occasionally really neat. |
I was thinking about picking up either that, or Electro-shock Blues.
|
I think I've seen that on soulseek before. I need to download it.
|
10,000 Maniacs - In my Tribe
