rockindrummer 11-05-2005 12:55 AM

^ haha I'd say your rather lazy. I've been using my left hand for my mouse now, it has actually started to get stronger and quicker with the mouse.

puppet.master 11-05-2005 01:09 AM

Tim 11-05-2005 01:58 AM

got a korg metronome and a pro sonix splash 10inch cymbal today. not bad. the splash was $30. aLL cymbals sound different so they let me try all 4 they had in and pick the one i liked. i picked the one that was slightly higher pitched than the rest. the usual douches at GC dont do that but roger is decent

rockindrummer 11-05-2005 02:16 AM

roger is sooo cool man.

That's awsome though man, good buys.

isn't it rather late in california now?

Also when the upgrades happened my clock got messed up, like the clock beside the post, not my computer clock, does anyone know how to fix it?

Drum Phil 11-05-2005 04:23 AM
Sick man, I love playing live!

It's been so long.

11 songs, geez, the biggest set I've ever done is 4.
Been a while since i blasted through a set too :upset: Last one was 45 minutes which resulted in me throwing several drumsticks and a mic at my guitarist to stop him playing after the song had finished :thumb:

My band was asked to play in a hotel for 400 people in the knights of columbus for an hour straight. Great experience especially when its in an international plaza hotel by the airport.

I've had that DVD for about two years and I've never watched it.

I don't like horror films.

:upset:

puppet.master 11-05-2005 10:44 AM

horror films bore me

Janeway 11-05-2005 10:46 AM

I don't want to go to guitar lessons.
They're so boring. I should just quit, but I don't have the balls to do it.

On another note, I voluntarily listened to the Dead Kennedys last night.

Drum Phil 11-05-2005 10:59 AM

Not a fan of the dead kennedys myself.

I decided to try some new sticks seein as my local store only stocks zildjian. So ive got some Adrain young sigs :) and some rods

gimp fest 11-05-2005 11:47 AM

No, you were probably brainwashed. No one(Including me) actually listens to them by their own will.

Drum Phil 11-05-2005 12:08 PM

I'm punker than punkdrummer and i dont listen to them :p

Undisco Kidd 11-05-2005 12:11 PM

With the exception of Zombie movies, I hate horror movies.

Land of the Dead = Hardcore.

It had two chicks making out, and then getting torn apart by zombie.s

Undisco Kidd 11-05-2005 12:17 PM

Does anybody know about the quality of Pulse hardware? I know their drums aren't the best.

Der Meister 11-05-2005 12:34 PM

I have no experience with pulse hands on, but I assume it will be the same as all the others in the beginners price range. So I'd say it will very thin, double braced, but still very thin.

If you are buying hardware, I'd say save up a little longfer for some top notch stuff.

Drum Phil 11-05-2005 12:42 PM

Stagg hardware is cheap and awesome.

I'm not necessary going for beginner stuff. I was looking for something to put a splash on, but I've decided on a gibralter stacker (6 inches).

As it turns out, the pulse boom arm has a plastic clamp.

Right now, I've got 3 mapex stands (only 2 of them in use) and 2 really old ludwig ones that might as well be made out of paper.

Win A Rabbit 11-05-2005 01:22 PM

oh man, i'm helping my dad bring in drywall for the basement, kill me now. it's not so much the weight that makes it hard, it's the size of it. we have to take it from the driveway, bring it up the stairs, go halfway across the house, turn around, go down the stairs (which by the way make a 90 degree angles about 3 steps down) then bring it back the other way. all for 2 sheets of plywood at a time. there's still about 40 in the truck, we've brought in 10 and my hands are killing me.

puppet.master 11-05-2005 01:45 PM

hahaha o man i was at a book store today and i read an article that slipknot is breaking up

no more joey for awhile
now we gotta put up with the whining from the fans though

i did pick up 2 drumming magazines though

your avatar offically kicks the *** out of everyone i've seen!

the only thing that would top it would be one of Phil doing his laugh

Janeway 11-05-2005 02:42 PM

My mom just cut about 2 inches off my hair.
I swallowed like half of the crap she cut off.
Gah.

Win A Rabbit 11-05-2005 02:43 PM

all done hauling. yee haw. my pinky on my left hand is bleeding in 4 spots, kept catching it on nails/screws/slivers on walls, etc. my pinky on my right is bleeding in 2 spots from the same thing. those are the only bleeders though. the others just hurt like hell. i should have a basement in a few days here.

and my dad's friend is giving me an old dresser with a record player in one side and an old radio in the other, and room for my stereo in the compartment under them, and my tv on top. looks like i'm gonna have to stock up on records now.

The Fiction We Live 11-05-2005 02:44 PM

my dad and I were carrying up my boxes for my old pearl kit to the attic and he missed a gap in the floor and put his foot through the ceiling. Check it out:
